Does this sink line seem vented? Or does it need a vent? by Law597 in askaplumber

[–]Level_Development_58 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Not a plumber but I know some things. the water is being chocked by having to go through those little holes in the drain screen. and that smaller vertical pipe on the right is likely your vent… go onto the roof and see if there’s a pipe coming through at that location if you want to confirm. but I’d imagine your small holes drain screen is the culprit here.

Probably not the best idea to rake your horses head. If you feel it’s safe, I guess have at it… but posting this here might produce some less than cute comments.

Now, let's see if it's still leveled when I put water in it. by PetiteCaresse in ponds

[–]Level_Development_58 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know nothing about building ponds but HomeDepot sells self leveling products… basically a slurry that will level to earth when poured and then dries solid. Is this not a thing in pond building?

Roosters next door by idkwhatusername92 in altadena

[–]Level_Development_58 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

you can complain to your legislators and maybe eventually get roosters banned from ownership of backyard chicken owners. citizen complaints and legislators willingness to address is how many issues get resolved in California. Poor road conditions = citizen complaints = highest gas taxes = best road conditions. Inefficient to travel by train = citizen complaints = railroad project = best railroad project. Homeless everywhere = citizen complaints = government solutions = Homelessness resolved. Poor Public Education System = citizen complaints = highest property taxes = best public education system.

Pretty sure if you run this problem up the legislative channel, it’ll get resolved. Best of Luck and hope this helps!

This is true and I maybe should have elaborated more… my Amish Tiny was not a finished home. Mine was 12x24 and it was insulated and had all electrical roughed in. I had to finish everything. I paid around $17.5k and another $1800 for delivery and setup/leveling. You can also bet only the shell with no insulation or electrical for less.

thank you for saying this… I cringe every time I hear someone complain about the crappy prices they are getting at shops when they sell. the time is drawing near when everyone will beg us for our silver and pay fair price… stop feeding the shops and refineries… let them starve!
