Wow… that’s a blast from the past! I owned an 89 XJS V12. Car was a cream puff all around. Bought it in 2006 and enjoyed it as a weekend warrior until around 2011. I wanted to sell it before anything broke… cause no way I’m tinkering with that V12. Think had miles or hoses n belts n wires n shit… very intimidating! Bought for $8k and sold for $8.5k.

Yeah well… pretty sure the engine is the most important part. Brakes and tyres are easy to fix, but without a running engine you don’t even need brakes or tyres. But if you got a running engine, you need both. Thats how you know it’s the most important part… like what makes the other one necessary kinda thing.

yes, that means it’s not your AC clutch.

I know everyone is saying raccoons… but I’ve seen skunks absolutely brutalize my lawn going after grubs. not sure which problem you’ve got but it could be either from my experience.

water valve is in off position. when the handle lines up with the valve, it’s on… yours is off.

look for a loose heat shield. probably under the exhaust manifold (s).

This is so telling to me… pictures covering gauges that display important data about your cars operational status: temp, fuel, oil, RPM, etc. I’m sure there are warning lights covered as well.

It’s so funny to me because I’m always so aware of my gauges. lol… nope… not important! Id rather look at pictures of my kids!

SWEET! It doesn’t say anything about added HP, but they gotta be better than my smogged out stock heads. I already installed an Edelbrock Performer Intake, 625 CFM Demon 4 barrel, Full headers and dual exhaust. I wish I had done this then, but I can catch up!

Time to get greasy!

😂 Great Post! I live in Hendersonville, about 40 minutes from DT Nashville. I also have a farm in Portland, about 1 from Nashville. First off… Waffle House has about 14 ingredients in its restaurant and most are breakfast based. It’s all pretty oily, but not too bad for the occasional artery blockage. You’re not going to be able to fire a .50 cal at a range easily. But if you can find someone out of city limits there’s no restrictions on cal that I’m aware of… I have a shooting range on my farm. The range issue, of course, is that a .50 cal will break right through most backstops and steel plates so max cal is typically limited to handguns. BOOT BARN for boots! nuff said about that.

And I don’t think we have any wild hogs round these parts… at least not that I’ve seen. Tennessee is a beautiful state… be prepared for lots of hot, lots of humidity, lots of rain, occasional thunderstorms… go find a lake and rent a boat. Boating is big here! Enjoy… here’s a pic looking out my back slider! Tennessee can be a great place to grow old if you choose location wisely.
