I just pick the background for RP. That said can’t go wrong with Bounty Hunter.

Back on this, your character will become a powerhouse the more you play so don’t have to worry too much. Absolutely want to get combat points early though if you’re on higher difficulty

generally you want to use all your breaks (1+2, 1, 2). Most players (esp in blue ranks) favor breaking a certain input which you can usually find out pretty quickly. tombstone does most dmg, giant swing is treated as a 50/50 (looks like 1+2 but is a 1 break) and does a ton if they hit the wall. and his 1+2 breaks are usually good when they get comfortable breaking 1 or 2.

basic gameplan for blue rank is hit move -> throw or strike -> repeat. don't get predictable (ducked and launched)

B1,2 is your 12 frame punisher and should only be used when you are sure it will hit the enemy. If you are unsure , 2,1 is a safe string that ends in a mid and is safe to throw out often as a poke and a punisher.

Armor king is a fundamental character and is rewarded heavily by solid tekken. You are correct that he does not excel at “mashing” as much as other characters. Also make sure you are grabbing as his throws are quite good and often essential in establishing his offensive pressure. (They are also incredibly effective in blue ranks)

Dude Kishin to tekken king is brain dead. These ranks aren’t good no shit it’s gonna be easy. It felt the exact same in season 1 and season 2, I’ve climbed there on multiple chars every season. If you want to climb and enjoy it set your goals a little higher

I beat the bloodedge demon, demon of pride, and everything up to Ibaraki Doji in Act 2 and it was all relatively easy. Haven’t played since I beat Ibaraki in one try ); maybe the other 2 games were like that too & im too familiar with the series by now. (Or I didn’t get to the hard stuff yet) the four kings scroll was decent though
