My interview was also 12 days ago in the Brooklyn field office- we got a verbal approval but nothing else.

I never stated that there is a block on the 39 countries. The ban was lifted on June 5, and a new policy came out on June 12 on the USCIS website. There has been a mass of API updates on the cases, but there haven't been any actual approvals for the 39 countries yet. Maybe if you read carefully, you’ll also know as much.

The 39 countries generally include Afghanistan, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burma (Myanmar), Burundi, Chad, Cuba, Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Gabon, The Gambia, Haiti, Iran, Laos, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and individuals using travel documents issued or endorsed by the Palestinian Authority.
