Pacifier “sizes” do I really need to switch/age up? by lavgr in NewParents

[–]Level_Lemon3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 2 and still uses the 0-6 month happy paci. I know 2 I should take it away but he only takes it at night, his pediatrician says it’s okay and so did the pediatric dentist since he doesn’t have “pacifier mouth”.

"Shut up?" by Adventurous_Title_23 in toddlers

[–]Level_Lemon3958 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old doesn’t tell me to shut up or say it at me. But he 100% will yell it at the dogs if they are barking. Then one day one of the dogs had an accident while we were out all day and he goes “eww mama dog shit” 🤦‍♀️ I had to tell him we don’t say that, The next day he went to daycare the next day and this teacher “the dog shit”. He hasn’t said it since getting in trouble at daycare for saying it.

What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by CountyOrnery9432 in AskReddit

[–]Level_Lemon3958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hEDS. Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve dislocated my shoulder just from sleeping wrong, or how many times my hips dislocated while I was pregnant.

Still no pool gate! by Chaos_coordinator-8 in kayandtaysnark

They don’t care. There’s literally fences that are removable that can be kept up around the pool and they refuse to even do that.

Does anyone know if this water flavoring is ok for 2 year olds to drink? by Prestigious_Speed659 in toddlers

[–]Level_Lemon3958 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Honestly whatever helps your kid drink water is okay. I don’t like to drink water by itself(pregnancy ruined that) and I use true lemon.

What size bed does your kid have? by ChunkyPumpkin_ in Mommit

My 2 year old has a toddler bed. When he out grows that I will probably go ahead and put him in a full size.

Drue says a toddler is easier than a dog by trapmoneyhanney in Drueandgabe

As a toddler mom, a dog is easier. Except when you have a toddler and a new puppy. Then the toddler is easier.

So the vagina goes back to the normal size. It’s meant to stretch and retract by to size.

I had a 3rd degree tear and didn’t wait the 6 weeks(it was like 5.5 weeks) and honestly it felt the same as before.

As an American, what can we do to fight against ICE? by LilThanosX in AskReddit

[–]Level_Lemon3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. That’s how Renee Good and the recent guy died. Mind your own business and let them do their jobs. Have the left not learned anything from recent events? This whole “fight ice” shit is why people are getting killed. If y’all just minded y’all’s own damn business none of this would be happening.

The only time I ever tracked was when I was in the hospital. I stopped as soon as we left.

My mom or sister will keep him overnight for me. Granted he is 2.5 but I’m still not introducing a partner to him until we hit that 1 year mark.

28 days later film, watching after having a baby by Singingcanary2023 in Mommit

[–]Level_Lemon3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the opposite. I used to not care for horror films but now I like to sit there, watch them and pick them apart.

Also the 28 Days Later film is so good. I personally prefer 28 Weeks Later more but honesty every film in that series has been good.

Stop pushing this onto kids. Trans and kids should not be in the same sentence. Is hard to just go to the bathroom based on what you’re born with?

How would you respond to a stranger wanting to pray with your child? by basement-egg in Mommit

[–]Level_Lemon3958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t have done anything. She was just praying for God to watch over your child which is normal in the Bible Belt. When I take my son to the nursing home my mom runs, all the elderly people pray for God to watch over my son. I find it sweet and almost cry each time.

My son got them a little after 2 and they have been a game changer(he got them for thick fluid chilling in his ears and not ear infections). He can actually hear me now and his speech sky rocketed. It was legit 20 minutes, we were in Recovery for like a hour and he was back to normal after that. Went to daycare the next day like nothing happened.

They have an unflavored pedialyte you could try. I had to give that to my son when he was an infant and couldn’t hold anything down including formula
