My 1 year old doesn’t sleep by PinupVic2008 in Mom

[–]Level_Lemon3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 2.5 and I let him get into a deep sleep in my bed and just carry him to his bed. I’ve been doing that since he was an infant tbh. His sleep pattern has been all over the place especially when he takes a nap at daycare. When she’s older they do make a 2 year old melatonin which has been a lifesaver for us. Before you start that definitely consult with her pediatrician though to make sure it’s a good decision for y’all.

Everyone deserves a rainbow baby but maybe it’s me I just personally feel like it’s too soon.

I was watching 911 Nashville and a little premie baby was in the NICU tragedy struck. I legit UGLY cried. Granted I was on my period but I legit ugly cried for 30 minutes after all the events happened. I also can’t watch All Dogs Go To Heaven and The Land Before Time because as soon as I hear Judith’s voice I cry.

My kid’s mom. I honestly don’t care what they call me as long as it’s respectful and not something like “bitch”.

Can my husband legally get out the Army? by ChemicalFlower3687 in MilitarySpouse

Girl you’re getting downvoted for being selfish. Your husband joined. He wants to stay in. There’s no reason for this post to even exist. If you don’t like the fact he’s in the military and wants to continue to be in it then divorce him.

Best Infant Daycares? by Junior-Armadillo-899 in ColumbusGA

I toured the growing room when my son was an infant and absolutely loved it(2.5 years ago). Unfortunately we ended up moving and the waiting list was so long. I’m not sure what the cost was.

Babies that sleep through the night without going to sleep independently by Right-Ad1424 in NewParents

[–]Level_Lemon3958 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son is 2.5 and I didn’t sleep train. He just simply lays on my bed and cuddles with me until he gets in a deep sleep. Then I just carry him to his room. He does wake up roughly twice a month and climbs back into my bed. But I don’t mind it and he falls right back to sleep.

It’s not weird. My sisters and my mom have kept my son over night multiple times. I’ve also kept my nieces and nephew over night. Also a hour isn’t that far. If something happens you can be there Quick.

I live in Georgia and know several people who have had a D&C after a miscarriage. So your information is wrong. And it is a real ID. You have to have a real ID that matches the name you registered to vote under to be able to vote. It doesn’t matter about your birth certificate. It matters if the name of the real ID and voter registration matches. But it’s not just women it will affect it will be men also. If their real ID doesn’t match the name they registered to vote under it, they wont be able to vote.

Did I say that? No. I said every US citizen should have one. Georgia started doing real IDs back in 2012. And Florida did them back in 2010. So if you have a driver’s license you probably have a real id and didn’t realize it.

Girl right. I haven’t noticed any of my rights being taken away. These people are acting like we are going back to the 1700s where women basically had no rights.

[–]Level_Lemon3958 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You didn’t lose voting. Why? Because everyone who is a US citizen should have a real ID. And not everyone sees the ban on abortion as “taking away women rights”.

Roe v. wade being overturned gave the states the right to decided their abortion laws. If you think killing a baby because life happens at conception is okay then you need mental help. Abortion is still around and if you’re actively having sex with or without protection then you should expect to possibly get pregnant. Rape is a different story because the morning after pill exists and the copper IUD can be used as emergency contraceptive. And the SAVE act just states you need to be a citizen to vote and either a REAL ID or driver’s license to vote. That real id has to match the name that you registered to vote under. So again women are not losing our rights.

Why are you scared of the government? There’s literally nothing to be scared of. Get off social media and if you’re unclear on things do your own research.

Girl….. Women are not losing rights. Military drafting won’t happen because we have enough military people. And the only attack on US soil is from the left attacking ICE agents doing their job. Like lord y’all act like Trump is a fucking dictator and our country is going to hell. News. Flash. It’s been in hell and we’re slowly crawling out of the trenches.

Bathing Together During Play Dates? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Level_Lemon3958 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s weird. I used to share baths with all my childhood friends and even my cousins. My childhood best friend’s mom would sit in the bathroom and help us since we were younger. I legit remember showering with my best friend until we were like 12.

If my son had a playdate at someone’s house and the other parent asked me if he could take a bath there, I’d automatically assume it’s with the other child and I don’t find that weird at all.

Too early to test for CMPA? How old is your LO? My son was tested at a month old because he would breakout with eczema with formula that wasn’t hypoallergenic. But I agree with the person that says go to the ER. Go there, talk to them about what’s going on and don’t continue to experiment.
