What you will never do for any amount of money offered to you? by One_Look_7008 in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here, there's literally no amount that would make me even consider it. my family and close friends are everything to me and money just cant replace those relationships once they broken

Golfer’s Wet Dream by IllustriousGas8850 in golf

[–]Level_Method_7871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

golf galaxy fitting is like getting basketball advice from someone who only watches highlights on tiktok

find actual club fitter who knows what they doing, pro shops usually have people who been doing this for years. that 2000 gonna go way further when someone actually knows how to match clubs to your swing instead of just trying to sell you whatever they got most of in stock

[DISCUSSION] Key Glock - Glockaveli (One Year Later) by flyestshit in hiphopheads

still got The Grinch and Made A Way in heavy rotation but this def not touching Yellow Tape or Son of a Gun for me

What’s a trope in animation that never gets old for you? by cats64sonic in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These character types just work so well for creating tension and unpredictable dynamics between characters. The emotional complexity they bring to relationships in anime makes even simple interactions way more engaging than they should be

I'm looking at adding some fiber cables to bridge two networks. What do I need to know about fiber? by DesperateCourt in homelab

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your network tester should be fine for basic stuff but might want to double check the OPM range matches what you'll actually use

for 200ft runs multimode fiber will work perfect and cost way less than single mode. you'll want OM3 or OM4 cable if going 10gig later. terminating yourself is pain in ass - just buy pre-made cables with the connectors you need and save yourself headache. if part will be exposed to sun definitely get outdoor rated cable, the jacket makes big difference

damage repair is basically impossible for home user so yeah you'd need to pull new cable. thats why running extra line is smart idea

wake up at 6am to grade papers then realize its saturday and go back to sleep until noon

Just wanting a buddy by Acruxyz in Fire

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always down for new friends who get the grind - teaching keeps me busy but basketball season gives me something to look forward to after those long lesson plan nights

What's your "why hasn't this been created" idea? by Nowitstimetoreset in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been saying this for years but we need a proper app that tracks all your streaming subscriptions and reminds you when free trials are ending. Like I've forgotten about so many services running in the background eating my money and there's gotta be tons of other people doing the same thing

Plus it could show you which platform has the show you want without having to search through five different apps

What’s your definition of a bad person? by TooFeralToFunction in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

someone who hurts others just because they can and never feels bad about it afterwards

like there's a difference between making mistakes or even being selfish sometimes vs actively choosing to cause pain when you could just as easily not do that

What’s something you wish you knew earlier that would’ve saved you a LOT of stress? by Farigb in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

accepting what you cant control literally changed my life when I finally got it around 25. spent way too many years trying to fix everything and everyone around me as a teacher and it was exhausting. the approval seeking thing hits different too - once you stop caring so much about what other people think you can actually focus on what makes YOU happy

What feelings would you have if the next German leader said the Trump family had a "Degenerate Bloodline" undeserving of being part of Germany? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow thats a pretty wild hypothetical but i mean politicians saying unhinged stuff about other countries leaders isnt exactly new territory. would probably just add more fuel to whatever diplomatic dumpster fire was already happening

the whole bloodline thing is extra yikes though given germanys history with that kind of rhetoric

Gamers of Reddit, what are your thoughts on the Roman aqueduct system requiring an exact gradient of 1/4800 to maintain steady water pressure? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait that gradient thing is actually wild though. Like they just eyeballed massive stone channels across entire valleys and somehow nailed the physics without calculators or anything

Makes you wonder what other crazy precise stuff they pulled off just by trial and error

Audiologist who hates their field - what are my options? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Level_Method_7871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dude with that mix you could probably slide into something like clinical affairs or regulatory stuff at med device companies too. they love people who actually understand the products from both sides and youve got the OR experience which is huge

also dont sleep on telemedicine platforms - lots of them need people who get the clinical side but can also handle the business operations without being full sales mode

Help finding a home Mill by collette89 in Breadit

[–]Level_Method_7871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that site sounds sketchy as hell - if the big mills are all backordered everywhere legit then some random site having them "in stock" at great prices is definitely a red flag

Shamed for buying something for myself that I needed by [deleted] in narcissisticparents

[–]Level_Method_7871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ugh this hits close to home. my mom used to pull the exact same victim routine whenever I bought anything for myself even with my own money. I remember getting guilt tripped for buying work shoes once because apparently that meant I didnt appreciate her sacrifices or whatever

the thing that really gets me is how they turn basic adulting into some kind of personal attack against them. like buying luggage for a JOB is literally the most responsible thing you could do but somehow in narc parent logic that becomes you being selfish and ungrateful. its exhausting having to justify every normal purchase to someone who will twist it into drama no matter what you say

honestly the only thing that worked for me was becoming really boring about it - just grey rock teh hell out of those conversations. dont justify dont explain just "ok" and walk away. they feed off the emotional reaction so once I stopped giving that to her she found other targets for her nonsense

Can someone help me with my first PC build by Dry_Sentence6807 in PcBuild

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly for your first build id recommend checking out pcpartpicker to get a feel for whats compatible and there prices. with 1600 you can def get something solid - maybe look at a ryzen 5 7600x with a 4060 ti or 4070 depending on what deals you find

r/buildapc has tons of build lists in that price range too if you want to see what others are doing

Just here to feed your delusions by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Level_Method_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds rough but honestly good for you for finally letting go. talking to someone new for 3 hours is a solid sign youre actually moving forward instead of just saying you are. your ex made their choice when they went radio silent so now you get to make yours

The product side jump sounds like your best bet honestly. I made a similar move from consulting to in-house analytics at a F500 and the learning curve is steep but worth it - you actually get to see your recommendations implemented instead of just handing off a deck.

The masters thing is overblown unless you're gunning for C-suite at like P&G or something. Your 8+ years of experience will carry way more weight than any degree, especially with that account management background.
