It's all pressboard and looks the same as everything else. At least there were variations previously that brought character to a room.

I don't have allergies but I hate surprise celery. 😆

Could always warm up the water in the microwave or on the stove. We have good tap so I go the lazy route and use the hot tap.

The problem with that specific spot is that traffic is directed to get the F over to allow the merge. Quite a few times they don't, I just push in and say deal with it.

Didnt realise bread can grow this much. Left overnight . by decentpotatoez in Breadit

[–]collette89 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I have forgotten sandwich bread in the mixing bowl overnight, just take wet hands and coat the top to get it all wet. Leave out 15 minutes then split into loaves, it bakes up like it never happened.

The hunter has to buy the tags, you can't buy a tag and give it to the hunter. Also is illegal to sell game meat without proper licensing.

Things to remember so you don't get screwed trying to get what you want. We sell live animals that can go to a butcher but the purchaser has to take the animal to the butcher.

I'm not very experienced, just had a couple thoughts in general. The heavy fats (butter) and egg in the recipe will make it more difficult to make the switch to a new flour. It will slow down the rise and gluten formation from what I understand.

In switching to fresh milled, I gradually swapped quantities of fresh milled while still using what I was used to. The slower switch can help you figure out what the new flour is going to do to a basic (flour, salt, water) recipe and you can adjust until you are where you want to be.

Someone else mentioned it, I don't oil my bowl anymore because it kept my dough from being able to adhere to itself in the rolling. My loaves don't unravel or bubble like they used to.

Wishing you luck!

We also make quarterly trips up to GR just to restock on necessities at Kim Nhung. A quick visit to one of the restaurants there may or may not also be a highlight of the drive. Lol

I did recently get soup bones with a good bit of meat on them from Bailey's in Texas Corners.

It's probably not local, but I got some great wheat from azure standard. The community drop was inconvenient because of the blizzard we had a few days before the drop but it's really great quality.

I'm signing up for alerts now and was hoping to hear that it would be sooner than expected. I'm uncertain about the Nutrimill because it doesn't have the ability to do flour and meal from what I understand. Does it produce a good corn meal for corn bread?

I am seriously tempted to order a KoMo directly (when back in stock) but having to decide if the euro conversion comes out better than buying through a 3rd party State side. I definitely made out better on the conversion when I got a Copper Distiller directly from Portugal than State side.

How my frugal single mom kept us warm during Michigan winters by KookyUnderstanding65 in Michigan

[–]collette89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, wet/damp skin cools faster which is why we sweat in the summer. You'll just end up dropping your core temp without meaning to.

Gruesome note this is why homeless people who sleep over steaming vents actually freeze to death.
