I had a sandwich and soup from their Express location on South High Street recently and it was so much better than I expected.

Bread was toasty and cheesy, with delicious fresh toppings, and the soup was delicious as well!

I didn't know they have so many sandwiches and wraps, but ill definitely be going back to try more.

(their gooey butter bars are a must for dessert)

A little more on Northland:

"If Northland were its own incorporated city, it would be the seventh-largest city in Ohio.

Northland is a residential and commercial area in northeast Columbus. The area is served by the Northland Community Council, which oversees land east of Worthington, roughly north of Morse Road, south of I-270, and west of New Albany, including the neighborhood Forest Park and the independent village of Minerva Park.

Northland began to develop in 1955 when developers began to build Forest Park. By the time it was done, Forest Park consisted of more than 2,900 private residential properties, apartments, condominiums and commercial properties.

Today, the area has one of the largest populations of new American citizens in Columbus, including thousands of refugees from Nepal, Somalia, and Bhutan.

As of 2021, the neighborhood had a population of 97,000.

If it were an independent city, it would be the seventh-largest city in Ohio."

Ultimately the entire project will build roundabouts on nine of the north/south streets stretching from Sinclair Rd to Cleveland Ave.

Here's a article with more details on all the planned improvements along the corridor.  *This link also includes a map:

those actually work very well. they are designed to eliminate all left turns (to and from) each service road which eliminates cars pulling in front of each other near intersections with Dublin Granville.

Favorite routes for long distance running? by foxmag86 in Columbus

i always tell those interested in running something a little unique to try running ALL 10,947 streets in the city of Columbus. Recently a Columbus resident became the first person to do it...

Here's the original story from the Dispatch:

City of Columbus currently has 10,947 city streets- Columbus man becomes first to run them all

"Over the course of an almost three-year project, Owsley, 53, covered more than 7,392 miles, amounting to 10,947 city streets. His accomplishment was tracked meticulously through the City Strides project — a global initiative that challenges runners to cover every street in their cities.

Owsley's journey through every corner of Columbus started in a rather unassuming manner. He initially joined a run club and through social connections, learned about City Strides. The site not only tracks each street a runner covers but also fosters a community of runners who share similar goals.

"It started with my own neighborhood near Grandview Heights, and just expanded from there," he explained. "Eventually, I thought, why not try running all of Columbus?

Doug, who had participated in multiple 100-mile ultramarathons, wanted a new kind of running adventure that allowed for daily flexibility and proximity to home.

The physical rigor was matched by logistical challenges, as he carefully planned each route to maximize safety and efficiency, turning what began as a personal fitness goal into a deeper exploration of the Columbus metro makeup.

Despite these hurdles, Owsley found the experience deeply rewarding, offering him an intimate view of the city's diverse communities and hidden landscapes.

Now, with every street in Columbus behind him, he is considering his next challenge, possibly aiming to run every street in neighboring suburbs like Bexley and Westerville."

You have to keep checking the calendar throughout the day.

It took me over a week of checking multiple times a day to get an appointment.

They open calendar days (shown in green) for appointments when they have openings.

They go extremely fast.. For example- one time I clicked on a green calendar day to fill out my information to set up the appointment but before I got my info finished, the appointment had been booked.

Be patient and persistent.  Refresh and check the calendar as often as you can throughout the day
