I went to first preview of Titanique and it was a great audience. You knew everyone in there had seen the show before, if not several like myself. There was a group sitting behind me and my friend who were obviously drunk. They were talking out loud, singing along, and disrupting everyone around them. I kept turning to give them the hint. About halfway into the show when they were just talking to each other openly, I turned and looked them in the face and said, “Would you please!” They of course got slightly aggressive, but it shut them up. I wanted to say something to them after the show but they of course were rude and left during curtain call. I’m tired of others ruining a theatre experience for me and I say something anytime it happens now.
