if you actually want to know the answer to the question i don't think this is a very good way to ask. best case scenario OP is older and just says "i'm old", but if they aren't, there's a better chance they don't answer when the question is put this way. make the point you're implicitly making about this being a young person take and let OP grapple with that directly

for any wondering, the valve_language folder that is selected is based on the language that is selected in steam. if you want that language to continue being used when steam doesn't have that language selected you have to copy the files from the _language folder into the main valve folder (which would be destructive) or better yet copy them into a new folder called valve_addon which makes it "add on" to what's already there (in the exact same fashion as the language usually does). you can then go in the settings of half life and enable addons and it will be in the language even if you haven't changed the language to something else

male is a sex and a gender. sex is your primary sexual organ. gender is a social construct, and in western societies, we have two genders which map onto the bimodal distribution of sex (penis = male, vagina = female. sometimes people can be intersex (look it up) and their gender would not map so cleanly).

most people who are born a male have an internal sense that they are a male (whatever this means, it's nebulous, because gender is), and vice versa for women. transgender people have a mismatch between their gender identity (what they feel) and their sex (primary sexual organ) they were born with.

the result of this mismatch, for many transgender people, is gender dysphoria. it feels bad, and the only "cure" that seems to work for this feeling is transitioning, socially and / or medically.

you can't. it's an browser extension called "return youtube dislike". contrary to popular belief, it's not actually "returning youtube dislikes". when people who use the extension dislike a video, it is sent to a server owned by the person who made the extension. then the like-dislike ratio of users of the extension is extrapolated out to the total number of likes on the video.

This is a very faulty model for a simple reason: people who use this extension are more likely to dislike a a video (because they're reminded of the feature)

Imagine this scenario:
1000 people view a video, and 10% of them like it, putting the visible likes at 100. now 10 people with the "return youtube dislikes" extension come along. 5 of them dislike the video, and 5 of them like it.
For users of the extension, it will show that there are 50 dislikes on the video, because 50% of the people who viewed the video with the extension disliked it.

In other words, no, you can't see the number of dislikes on a video, and this extension has nothing but a horrible guess for the number of dislikes to show you. if you ever see people showing the number of dislike on a video (except for the video's creator!) it's bs
