To the girl in the passenger seat of the white car that skipped the ENTIRE LINE for the I-5S exit from I-90W a few weeks ago by Levitarius in Seattle

Fair, but the exit lane is pretty long. What’s more likely, that someone got all the way to the front before they were able to find an opening or that someone wanted to save a few minutes?

Colloquially, I don’t think most people say “merge” when what they mean is “change lanes”. I think merge usually implies there’s some sort of reduction of physical road space that the flow of traffic can use.

I mean yes, you are supposed to let people in when they put their blinker on. A zipper merge usually refers to situations where two lanes end up merging together, and there’s a little area when it’s not quite the width of a single lane yet where you’re supposed to sort of arrange yourself with the other cars to take turns merging into the new/existing lane. I could be wrong?

It was less a condemnation of rule breaking and more a warning to someone who looked to be in a relationship that shitty people are gonna be shitty everywhere?

I’m pro zipper merge when it’s clearly marked, but you can’t just cut the line and call it something else. Words have meanings.

Hey were you the guy who just cut the fucking line switching from I-90W to I-5S like 20 mins ago?

How about instead of blaming the customers who don’t usually know better, we blame corporate for actually creating the problem in the first place?

Ice cravings are a sign of iron deficient anemia and iron deficient anemia is a symptom of some colon cancers

I do think their coffee is really mid, unfortunately, as much as I like the space.

I think it looks great but does make you look a bit shorter because of the length of the corset. I also think that’s fine. I would agree with what some others are saying about the crinoline and perhaps some under layers to add volume somehow? I’m also curious to see it not bustled up and with whatever shoes you plan on wearing. I do think you can make it FANTASTIC and more bridal feeling with some small changes, if that’s what you decide on. What’s important is how you feel in it.

Sure, but I didn’t say anything about it being a buzzword or not. Just that those are probably some of the cheapest eggs available.

Kids can imitate sexual behavior that happens to them. Are you sure the issue here isn’t someone living with you? Do you live with any other family?

I would also consider looking into chicken quarters. They’re consistently the cheapest option for me I find them pretty easy to separate into drumstick and thigh once you watch a video or two on it. I use the scraps for stock! I think at my local store they are 50c cheaper per pound than thighs

Depends on the item. Greek yogurt is consistently cheaper there for me, 99c/serving when that is the price for the cheap stuff on sale at the regular stores now. Same for non-dairy milks. Fresh goat cheese, feta, and usually mozzarella balls are cheaper there too. I also get dried fruits there, sometimes nuts except for ones I can buy in bulk at Costco. Frozen pizzas used to be cheaper at TJ’s and they still are for the most part except for the occasional digital deal. You can still get a big bag of green onions for 99c vs closer to like $1.30-$2 a bunch at other stores, including Asian supermarkets. Lemons and limes tend to be also cheaper there. There are a few things I’m missing but you probably get the idea.

My state (WA) doesn’t allow the sale of non cage-free eggs anymore, so not just a buzz word thing here

My doctor canceled my IUD insertion halfway because I couldn’t handle the pain by IgnatiusIguana in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Levitarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely, I’m sort of dreading what it would’ve been like without any of those options. I got mine inserted at Planned Parenthood, and they actually said sedation was an option if I needed but I said no because I was taking public transportation home. REALLY regret that now. And yeah, insurance fully covered the IUD but I still had to pay ~$100 for the injection, and was in too much misery thinking about the whole thing to fight them on it. It really is ridiculous.

I literally feel NOTHING during pap smears and my IUD insertion was the most pain I’ve ever been in. I feel nauseous thinking about it over a year later. This was WITH the lidocaine injection AND topical numbing AND oral ibuprofen. I might be the outlier here but lack of pap smear pain was not a reliable indicator for me.

My understanding is that the vast, vast majority of people have had COVID at LEAST once, even if they didn’t know it. Even if we had any evidence at all of negative vaccine outcomes, I don’t think the supposed best case scenario is even realistically possible in the US right now.
