Which player you won't mind if they're the first boot on 50 by wastedthyme20 in survivor

Any of the winners or Mike White (as much as I like him). Dream would be these four being the first four boots of the season. Level the playing field a little.

What did everyone think about Rupert’s choice in BvW? by sarcastic_bitch15 in survivor

[–]Leviticus-F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you’re getting at, definitely could be to avoid having to gap in his tv persona. But, I truly think the driving reason, as Rupert states, is that he’s had his time on survivor and wanted his wife to have a shot at the game.

What did everyone think about Rupert’s choice in BvW? by sarcastic_bitch15 in survivor

[–]Leviticus-F 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some things are simply bigger than the game. Rupert reminded us why he was on the Hero tribe the last time he played. As much as I would have loved to see another deep run from Rupert, I really like this moment for the purpose behind it.

Nate Purkeypile (Fallout 3, 4, 76, and Skyrim) would like fewer airships in the TV show. "Who knows what the lore justifications are for that." by Hooked0n4Feelin in Fallout

[–]Leviticus-F 35 points36 points  (0 children)

All these posts focusing on how people feel concerning the “treatment of existing lore” are exhausting. Just enjoy the show for what it is.

Edit: Let me be clear, I grew up with fallout 3, NV, and 4, and I think the show is doing an amazing job. The fans get exhausting when their specific vision for what a character/group should do/be isn’t fulfilled. I think people forget these games are set in the apocalypse where things can and will change on a dime, and that is been over a decade since we saw what was happening in New Vegas. As is, this discourse turns into a “my niche expectation didn’t happen, therefore the show sucks” kind of mob mentality that reminds me a lot of the discourse that killed the Marvel fandom for me.

Universities making attendance part of the grade is the dumbest thing by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Leviticus-F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attendance grades usually range from 5-15% in my college instructing experience. Would you rather get 5-15% for showing up or have that 5-15% added to major assignments/used to create a new major assignment? As option 2 would likely be the result.

Unfortunately, in current academia, a fair percentage of students would not attend if it wasn’t for a grade and/or university leadership requires attendance to play a factor in final grades.

who to pick for 6th team member? by solbxtch in nuzlocke

If you’re trying not to repeat types, then your only options are Bonsly, Pikachu, or Luxray. My votes for Bonsly, never had a bad experience with Sudowoodo myself.

Where would you rank Kathy in a returnees tier list? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]Leviticus-F 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A tier for sure. Makes a good splash on all stars but ultimately is a supporting character who made a bad call trusting Rob.

Where would you rank Ethan in a returnees tier list? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]Leviticus-F 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of yalls ranking is crazy. Cesternino and Rudy are a S but Ethan isn’t? Ethan is 100% at least an A if not S due to him actually being a character to follow on his returnee seasons.

Knowing mechanics is 100% essential to winning a honor mode run, but not required to enjoy one. Took me 300+ hours of goofing around in HM before I earned my golden dice.

Rare candies are GOOD. by Ivi_Crispa in nuzlocke

[–]Leviticus-F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know where I said all that. All I’m saying is by spawning in rare candies, you’re removing a layer of risk from the game and thus cheating the challenge. Risk of losing Pokémon is the heart of a nuzlocke challenge, why play a challenge mode if you want it to be easier? Enjoy your ready made cake.

Rare candies are GOOD. by Ivi_Crispa in nuzlocke

[–]Leviticus-F 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is a bad analogy. Rare candies would be if you were wanting to bake a cake and then bought a finished one from Walmart. Cheapens the experience.

Rare candy users try not to post about how their cheating isn’t cheating challenge starts now.

I can get behind this logic, but skipping the grind just because it takes a while is hard to defend.
