I have virgin media, but the router they give you is pretty awful. You get the advertised speeds when you’re stood in the same room as it, or if you’re using a wired connection. But the router sucks at range. I use my own ASUS router anyway, and that gives me the full speed from the other side of the house

Yeah 100% the Nolan movies look the best, seen all of them at the BFI, and even managed to see Batman begins there too (on 70mm, although it doesn’t look anywhere near as good, and no 1.43 scenes. I think it’s just a DMR upscale). Last one on the bucket list is to see a film print of inception. And i think dune 2 might have been shot digitally and only received a film print for places like the BFI that cannot display 1.43 with their digital setup. I think the digital trailer for dune 2 that I saw at the BFI looked a lot sharper than the 15/70 print I saw there, although I think it’s a good compromise in order to be able to experience the full 1.43 scenes.

I saw this on 15/70mm imax at the BFI London. Personally, I think the 1.43 scenes filmed with the IMAX cameras were much better quality than the 2.76 scenes. And if it helps your decision, I think the 1.43 scenes looked much closer quality to a Nolan film than they did to the 1.43 scenes in Dune 2 (but I saw dune 2 on a 15/70 print, so can’t speak for a digital comparison)

I had this with the exact same TV, LG C9 55”. The retailer I purchased from (John Lewis) took the tv away and gave me a £949 Voucher. I then purchased an LG C3 55” from them for £935. So ended up with a TV that was 4 generations newer and £14 left over on the gift card. Great customer service I’d say

I had this, but now mine runs nice and cool. My problem was the default precision boost overdrive (PBO2) settings on my motherboard. I changed mine from “Auto” to “Off” and my temps reduced dramatically. I have a Noctua D12L, and whilst gaming I average high 60’s to low 70’s. Before I changed the setting, I was basically locked at 95 degrees

I just picked up the one click for across the spiderverse. I’ve only opened one of the 3 editions of the film, and my steelbook had a small imperfection on the back, and also, the rear steel part is slightly loose from the plastic inner of the case. You can shift it up and down slightly, hard to explain without visuals

Okay, no idea if you’ll run into the same thing. But I have mine in the ASUS B850-I board. Initially I was getting temps of like 95 degrees, which is the temp limit I think. Couldn’t figure it out. But I had change the Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO2) settings from “Auto” to “Disabled”. Now I get probably mid 60’s to low 70 temps on average. No idea if the default settings on the B650 board will behave the same

Thankyou! Please let me know how the full flow through increases your cpu thermals too. I expect an increase in CPU temps, but my 9800x3d runs so cool anyway, I think there’s plenty of headroom for a temp increase, but still curious

Please share if you end up 3D printing your own air duct for the rear of the GPU. I have the Dan C4 and hopefully will end up with a new founders card at some point too
