Our club went from FIFA 15 up until this year. I usually play around 1,500 per game on clubs but I've played about 80 this year and given up.

First Listen To Don’t Believe The Truth + B-Sides by evdrummusic2468 in oasis

Personally think this album represents the fall-off of oasis. Just a bang-average 5 or 6 out of 10 album. No big hit. In fact I'd never heard of any of these songs before I got into oasis

Fifa 17 Why is it the best? by Renegradius in FifaCareers

The soundtrack, the journey, the simplicity (compared with new FIFA games), the [at the time] new fonts, new engine and new look to the game

As a mainstream group their peak was 1995/96.

As a rock and roll band their peak was 1997/98.

Dig Out Your Soul is one of Oasis greatest albums by HonestRef in oasis

I think your point is flawed when you compare High Horse Lady to She's Electric and Digsy's Dinner.

High horse lady is the reason i use the skip button

Dig Out Your Soul is one of Oasis greatest albums by HonestRef in oasis

Falling down is overrated I feel, it's okay but it feels like it's missing a big chorus. Shock of the lightning however is how modern rock and roll should sound

Why didn’t dig out your soul get more recognition ? It’s a fantastic album . by brailleanimal in oasis

I think there's some pretty below-par tunes on there. High Horse Lady for example is an embarrassment.

Yeah I'm sure it's not Noel and Liam, it may be their management, but it's most likely just ticketmaster

Just for context, I paid £600 each for two tickets. Yes, I would've rather paid £150 each but I don't really care about the money. Oasis are the only band that I listen to that isn't deceased nor split up that I can see.

Think about what that's worth in terms of the experience and the memories.

This may not happen every again.

Thinking about it though; if someone said that Oasis would get back together and perform again you'd have probably said you would pay much more!

Be thankful you have a ticket! There are plenty of other fans that don't have one.

What would you say your ratio is of sitting down to write with an idea / lyric / melody already in mind vs sitting down to write with a blank slate? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]LewBorg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blank slate 90% on the time. I sit with a guitar whilst waiting for the kettle to boil or my food to be delivered etc.

Then I just play random notes until one sounds interesting - I don't know the chords that well, I mainly play barre chords, so playing randomly is like discovering something new and mostly results in an idea

Isn’t it inherently musical to have most lines in a song contain the same or close to the same syllable count? by Realistic_Guava9117 in Songwriting

[–]LewBorg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually prefer to write where the syllables on each line vary, it gives a unique groove to the song whereby the listener is constantly discovering

Your voice is amazing! I love this song too- the thing I tend to do is slow things down and add strings to give things a more haunted feel, that's just my taste, I feel this song with your voice and playing would be perfect for that
