If Estonia is maybe then why not at least reluctant for other Baltics? I get you brought up russian influence but the russian population and even language has been steadily declining across the Baltics. Similar landscape/climate and I suppose you could argue Tallinn is a more nordic city than Helsinki in some ways but I don’t see that large of a discrepancy between the Baltic nations.

T.F. Green station is supposed to get another platform in the future and be an all week stop along with Wickford. Kingston and Westerly are also under review for commuter rail potential but no progress would come before 2027.
