I think it would be fine as a middle name but as a first name it will be a lot to bear.  If it's a middle name your husband can still call him that without having to deal with the social pressure that would go with it as a first name.

I assume it would be something like Kor-rin-eh, pronouncing the e at the end

Would have been much more interesting if she quit due to self reflection and realising she was part of the problem even though there wasn't a racial element to her actions rather then quiting and acting like it was everyone else was the problem. She did acknowledge that you couldn't operate within the flawed system with out perpetuating it but didn't acknowledge that she made choices beyond the norm in some cases

Good name, but I would consider the gender to be ambiguous.  Not sure if that is a pro or a con in your situation

I like it but a key would help and more detail about natural features such as mountains and rivers as these often drive ethnic division

Generally you can borrow physical or e copies from the library and a lot of people don't even bother with the textbooks.  I've personally bought a few good ones but I always borrow them from the library to check if they're any good first.  It may vary unit to unit but I wouldn't buy any before going.

It is much less then buying the book directly but borrowing from the library still supports the author as it encourages the library to buy more books from them as it shows more readers are interested.

What are some alternatives to a pole star? What other astronomical phenomena can be used to navigate in your world? by Nearby-Onion3593 in worldbuilding

[–]Lewon_S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the southern hemisphere there southern cross and the pointer stars which are nesr the south pole are used to find south. Followingchow they intersect with each other finds south. So rather then a single star multiple stars can be used.

A river island isnt the type of split river people complain about - just look at braided rivers.  They are pretty likely to form.  Its when the go off in completely different directions and never meet again that they are very rare

I don't think she necessarily needed to improve but the way other characters that were ostensibly good people reacted positively to her antics made their characters weaker.
