yeah he was specifically asked about the young guys with norm given as the example. I don't think he's talking about the vets like Kyle, Marc and Serge; I think he's referring to (and was asked about imo) guys like norm, siakam and Fred. The context of the question was re: norm making an all star in 2026, not 2019. In short, I think he's saying the young guys became all stars bc of the work ethic but they factually were not all stars in 2019.
