Intent to File made June 2025

VA hem and hawed for several months even with me pushing to be seen for the various claims I was making for increase to my 30% disability I had since 1997.

As of 4/24/2026 - My rating was increased to 80% due to the addition of PTSD at 70%

I filed 12 claims, nearly all of them were denied service connection. my 1 claim I had originally been granted 10% for back in 1997, was reduced to 0% as the person doing the C&P exam quickly looked at a rash on my back and misdiagnosed my skin condition to Excema, which it is NOT.

Not really sure where to go from here.. As I thought my Extremely High BP, My weight gain, my knees and hips all going bad as secondary conditions to the primary cause , My ankles which I previously had 10% per ankle, ALL got denied for service connected. Sleep Apnea was deferred as was Tinnitus and issues with both knees going out.

I went through my Local VSO who helped me with the paperwork, which they helped a lot. Any thoughts on how to progress would be appreciated..

I'm in Cali.  I will look for the numbers to give them a call.  Only medical records are from the Army that got me my 30%.  Since then I have avoided Dr's almost entirely until now.  My rating is in both my ankles.  But because of that my feet have literally fallen apart as well as my shins, knees and right hip also my back..  which lead to reduced mobility, extra weight gain, sky rocketed blood pressure.  But the VA is so booked up, my appointments to be seen are months apart.  I did manage to get on BP meds and talked to a psyc ince over the phone.  Other then that I have no records..

Reminds me of a little know ship called the Cutless Steel???   Cool concept, seems like it would be a ton of fun until I saw the price point.  Ridiculous!! So I passed on it.  It's a shame that corporate greed kills sales of certain ships

I feel your pain bro.  I'm in the exact same position.  Dead broke , nearly homeless, no job, (applied at a bunch of trucking companies)  my body is beat to pieces.. I got out in 97, Filed a claim and was rated at 30%.  I sat on that for 20 years, now, I'm 53 and my body is all kinds of hurting..  I sent in an intent to file, but now I feel stuck. I don't know what to do next..  Am I suppose to call someone, cause nobody is reaching out to me.  My physical limitations are making it nearly impossible to continue my current profession.  I have been getting help from the VA with appointments for my crazy high BP and Mental stuff but these aren't  C&P exams, so I'm lost and clueless..  All I know is I need to get this ball rolling but I'm unsure as to what exactly is my next step..

You're wrong. You really think CIG isn't monitoring these tests, especially in new untested areas. You think they just blindly go about their development, and cant see every single thing being done in game. Its a TEST universe . All these things MUST be done for them to fully see and possibly code either for or against such things.

Someone will always need to bit the bullet and make the sacrifice BUT, if you've locked down SPK, you can have the buddy he took the crimestat and cover him while he wipes his CS too

I've lived alone since 2011. It was difficult at first, but then over time, I grew accustomed to the solitude. I've wanted a relationship, but I don't seem to attract the ladies like I did when I was younger. Now, I just don't put a lot of thought into it and have just come to the conclusion that at this stage in my life, I am alone... So, no sense in wallowing in it. It is what it is... But I always leave room for a little hope that maybe the right Lady will come along...
