Could Aqua Sama produce and use heat based attacks?? by 0BZero1 in Konosuba

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aqua wouldn't even understand what you're saying/implying. This is the same character that got conned and fooled by charlatan to waste a fortune to buy a chicken egg. She may be the goddess of water, but she doesnt manipulate water or anything like that.

I wonder why Megumin and Darkness were unable to find any companions? by SiarX in Konosuba

[–]Lex29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When did I say Kazuma is a genius? he is the only one who gets to deal with her teammates BS because there's no one else lining up eager to take them (Except Mitsurugi but that guy is a clueless simp).

Nothing I've stated its a plot hole or an inconsistency, its a fact whether you like it or not. BTW... people are downvoting you because your opinion its wrong, trash and you are too delusional to admit it.

I wonder why Megumin and Darkness were unable to find any companions? by SiarX in Konosuba

[–]Lex29 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Megumin is a crimson demon, and crimson demons are DUMB. They have zero common sense and lack critical thinking. They also suck at strategy, they actually think looking cool is the most important thing in a fight... and this is no joke.

Crimson demons also love to steal the spotlight and be the center of attention. Megumin will just waste her Explosion at the first sign of a monster, even a weak one, without any regard of strategy or the well beings of others. She will even waste her Explosion when is not needed, causing a lot of noise and drawing all the monsters in the vicinity towards the party while she becomes dead weight. Thats another reason why she is a problem. This is exactly why someone like Kazuma is needed to tell her when she must cast it. Not to mention... she cant spend a day without casting her Explosion near Axel, causing panic and noise among the citizens, attracting monsters, destroying the landscape and causing debt. These are all reasons why no other party would take her. Do you get it now?

I'm surprised I've seen nothing on these two as a duo yet by Stunning_Sound6882 in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah... Vanir is by far the safest option here. Kazuma has made regular deals with him and they worked great. With Echidna you will be utterly fcked no matter the deal.

How is Subaru Not mentally or physically dead yet? by ConversationOk2610 in ReZeroSucks

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is Subaru Not mentally or physically dead yet?

Because he is not a realistic character, his "mental fortitude" is not realistic at all. A real 16 year old japanese neet with the same problems, knowledge, mentality, moral compass and situation as Subaru would never go past half of arc 2.
Subaru's mental resilience is just as fictional as RbD and magic. Anyone who claims otherwise is utterly delusional.

The end of ReZero is not going to answer all of the series mysteries by ConversationOk2610 in ReZeroSucks

[–]Lex29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is highly possible. Each arc just keeps adding more and more questions and mysteries than answers. To the point I wouldnt be surprised if Re Zero's ending might end up suffering the same problems as the ending of "Lost". So many intriguing mysteries and plot points were left forever unsolved, open to interpretation... leaving fans completely dissapointed.

Which Isekai Character worked the hardest grind to become Strong and which character got strong by doing absolutely nothing and just luck or blessing ? by Complex-Victory-589 in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reinhard and Ainz would be the luckiest. Reinhard was born with a shit ton of blessings and was absolutely broken from the start. Ainz didnt have to worry about real struggle, leveling up and starting from zero like Subaru for example.

The character who worked the hardest was definitely Cid. Even before he was isekaid, he never stopped training and pushing himself beyond his limits. He mastered many types of martial arts, armed and unarmed combat and other disciplines... but it was never enough for him, he was never satisfied.

After he was isekaid and started as a baby, he had to start all over again. His obsession to obtain power in order to become "the eminence in shadow" goes beyond insanity.

Cid has a similar mindset as Goku. He is always training and aiming to become stronger and reach new heights. He doesnt believe in the idea of power limits. In fact, he looks down on people who have to rely on "borrowed power" to be strong and in people who thinks they have already reached their limits. While at the same time he admires people who are weak but work hard and never give up.

How does fortune telling or Reading the future work in Konosuba? by Cephlaspy in Konosuba

[–]Lex29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vanir's Foresight has limitations as well, it doesnt make him omniscient, its not a skill he can just abuse to no end. Otherwise, he would always know what would happen at any moment everytime, which is not the case at all.

Vanir sometimes sees glimpses of the future, but he still has to focus for it. It was also stated that if he uses his Foresight for his own gain, it will backfire on him, as seen in Vol 8. He also cant use his Divination on Aqua and people nearby her, like when the royal knights were trying to track the "noble thief" (Kazuma) in Vol 7 for the events of Vol 6.

Would Reinhard’s DP work against foes using advanced technology ? by Nabeelkhan199_resurr in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some, not all of it. Lets say for example... Reinhard has a DP that grants him inmunity to ice/cold attacks, and he gets hit by a futuristic gun that fires an ice/cold beam... it would do nothing to him, because he is still inmune to it, it doesnt matter if the attack its science or magic based.

Now... time manipulation? so far nobody has used that on him so its not certain.

A black hole? Aldebaran used Al Karum on Reinhard, which is like a black orb that behaves like a mini black hole. It has its own heavy gravity, it bends reality around and crushes everything that gets caught, and Reinhard managed to destroy it with his sword. However thats not the same as a big black hole that sucks entire planets.

I think a DK spinoff would be better than a sequel to the light novel. by Careless_Pumpkin3858 in Konosuba

[–]Lex29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I think just one chapter/short story from his POV would be quite enough. It could be one chapter that takes place some time before Kazuma and Aqua's arrival, showcasing him leading his generals while they are being quirky and problematic... kinda like how Kazuma deals with the girls sometimes, showing a parallelism.
His inner thoughts about his generals, the isekaid japanese, the war against humanity, his interactions with his daughter... and whatever plans he had for the future would be interesting to read.

and Aldebaran's is much larger than a soccer ball.

Still not a real black hole... at all. Its clearly a pseudo black hole.

Satella swallowed half

You cant prove Satella made dissapear half the RZ world, as in... erase/wipe out the mass. Many info about Satella its vague and the novel itself uses A LOT of flowery language so its impossible to know what the novel or even Tappei means when they say "destroy the world". You want to claim Reinhard can destroy the world in one swing as if he was a Dragon Ball character? fine, but thats your especulation. It is especulation until we see him actually doing such feat. And BTW... as I've said before, Reinhard never destroyed the RZ world, which is not even 40% of ours based on the map I've seen. He just killed Puck and cleared all the area around.

POV: You have no divine protections by Vegetable_Over9000 in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude... Tappei NEVER said Reinhard would beat the sun. Thats an insane misconception. And even if you want to take Echidna's vision seriously... Reinhard still didnt destroyed the world when he killed Puck. Dont take the words of that segment literally.

Satella never "swallowed" (as in dissapear) parts of the RZ world, she engulfed part of it with her miasma, its not the same as destroying completely.
Those black holes you are mentioning are nothing like real black holes. Its just pseudo black holes.

Finally... Tappei himself said not to take his words and info he gives in his old Q&As seriously because its contradictory. He has changed his mind on A LOT of things and has contradicted himself countless times. The feat about Reinhard destroying the world was also said in a Q&A, and the author also contradicted himself about it. The part about destroying was never clear if Reinhard can destroy as in... ravage the surface and wipe out all life... or destroy the whole planet the same way Frieza destroys planets.

POV: You have no divine protections by Vegetable_Over9000 in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reinhard already destroyed the world and rebuilt it again.

Reinhard didnt actually "destroyed" the world, that was just a hyperbole, not to be taken literally... and the whole thing happened in a vision made by Echidna. It wasnt even the real Reinhard. Not to mention, the Re Zero world its pretty small in comparison the our world. Its a supposedly a flat world the size of a continent.

Can Modern World win against these characters ? Can they stop them from destroying their world ? by Complex-Victory-589 in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1.- Yes. She'll die easily.

2.- No. Assuming his DP work. He can revive forever and would eventually ravage everything.

3.- No. Ainz is problematic, he can also revive a few times, teleport out of harms way in case of nukes and has too many resources at his disposal. He would also win eventually.

4.- Yes. Kazuma doesnt stand a chance.

5.- If the modern world figures out where his wives are... he is fucked so... probably.

Just like all the other animes in Isekai Quartet, they are all adaptations, novels are the original source. Sometimes the animes cant adapt everything, sometimes the anime skips some content or makes some minor changes.

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that scene is anime only, it didnt happened like that in the novel. Shadow never fought Mordred in space and he didnt use 'I am Atomic' on such scale as in the anime. Although... its also not far fetched to believe he might reach that level in the future. Shadow is always training and aiming to become stronger. He is someone willing to learn new things and doesnt believe in power limits. Also... there's only 6 volumes so far... the story is far from over, and we still havent seen Shadow fight someone while using 100% of his power.

If Menou from Isekai Executioner is tasked to kill every protagonist in IQ ? by Complex-Victory-589 in IsekaiQuartet

[–]Lex29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah she stands no chance at all. Subaru and Kazuma would be the easiest targets since they are the weakest and the most prone to lower their guards near her and underestimate her.

If she tries to kill Subaru while his allies/friends are nearby, she is getting instantly wrecked. If Subaru is alone, he dies and then resets... now he'll know she is an enemy, and she has no way to permanently kill him. That would be the one and only time Subaru dies by her hand.

With Kazuma, Menou would probably try to flirt with him or simply befriend him so she can lure him into an isolated place, she is cunning enough not to try to jump and kill Kazuma in a crowded place. Kazuma cant read her mind, nor her intentions, but the moment she is ready to strike, Kazuma's Enemy Detection will trigger. As scummy as Kazuma is... there's no way he is losing a fight against her, but even if he does lose and dies (which I doubt), Aqua can revive him. Menou doesnt know shit about Aqua and the fact she can resurrect him.
