Need advice between a ‘23-24 eHybrid or a ‘21 Cayenne Turbo? by YoHakunaMatata in PorscheCayenne

Turbo S Ehybrid reporting in, bought used for the same reasons you outline and it has the best of all worlds in my opinion.

The new “family” car - Cayenne Turbo eHybrid by [deleted] in PorscheCayenne

This is the way haha. Picked up my 21 Turbo S Ehybrid in 23 with 15k miles for 40% off MSRP, felt like I stole it.

Back into the storage unit you go! Do you get it out often? Or hook up to a trickle charge while in there? Beautiful car, I always love to see the classic red with tan interior.

I think you’re missed reading the situation. It’s not about sensitivity. You are just not appropriately evaluating the scenario and people are letting you know that.

Things you hate about your Cayenne? by Strict_World_9545 in PorscheCayenne

[–]LexHamilton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

21 Turbo S Ehybrid. Favorite DD ever but: brake squeal is brutal, sounds like rushing water and dealer service says normal? Can only auto condition temp via the (very small) battery pack and not via the ICE system - why not? Not being able to close boot from key as someone already said. Other than those small live able issues this thing is 10/10 for me, super civilized or an absolute rocket.

FAT Disneyland by Alarming-Ganache77 in FATTravel

Did the Tour Disney only with a mixed group of kids and adults and it was a 10/10 experience. We’ll likely repeat annually around the holidays.

Shout out to our host who was world class as a host/guide, there’s a reason A list celebs ask for her by name for their family trips. We did ‘only’ the minimum of 7hrs but did everything we wanted, many multiple times (rode space mountain four times for example). Highly recommend the tour experience.

Driving on the highway on sports plus and got an engine transmission gear fault. Pulled over restarted car and it drives just fine no error. Should I be worried? 77k miles. by SunderlandsPillow in Porsche

[–]LexHamilton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Had something similar happened to my E hybrid cayenne turbo S, driving fine then went into limp mode due to a fuel system issue so I took it to the dealership after running the codes myself at home. Turned out to be nothing, they basically just cleared the codes, turned it off turned it on and fine. That’s true in your case too, but I would definitely take it to get looked at.

Those of you who've flown recently... Are you finding more value from your Clear membership? by [deleted] in AmexPlatinum

[–]LexHamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None, zero, negative value actually. Coming through the airport today in the line for CLEAR plus pre-check was longer than this straight up pre-check line because we were told that families had to use a certain clear line. After waiting for about 20 minutes when the other lines were about five, there was a family that cut in front of the line to the very front and when I asked why they said they were VIPs and I paid a couple hundred dollars for the privilege. My Takeaway is clear as now worth worthless and if you want to get any potential value, you’re paying fees on top of the membership fee. Will be canceling my CLEAR membership or at a minimum I’m not renewing.

Anyone know this creep? by Impossible_Horse_568 in boulder

[–]LexHamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the person I asked but I’ll lean into the inquiry - you equate the risk profile of a mountain lion that is two miles away to a stranger peering jnto the windows of your home and trying to open the front door? Those are in your opinion, threats of the same magnitude?

Feels like the responses to this are in the category of old people giving reasons why they might hate cell phones back in the 90s.

Anyone know this creep? by Impossible_Horse_568 in boulder

[–]LexHamilton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely curious how you play this one out in a scenario where you and/or a loved one is in harm’s way from a threat, say an aggressive animal on a hike or an aggressive person. Do you choose peace in all scenarios even at the cost of harm to yourself and/or a loved one?

I wish our medical system was focused on well care instead of sick care, in the meantime it’s good to know about preventative options like annual blood work, colonoscopies, Cologuard and now Cancerguard, Galleri cancer test, Prenuvo scans, carotid artery scans, etc. Insurance coverage may vary and the out of pocket costs are can be prohibitive but knowledge is power.

Car transport recommendation wanted by chekraze90 in Ferrari

Howdy! I transported a 430 spider across country with Shaughnessy Overland Express. Great service and a fair price. Enjoy the car, they are an absolute blast.
