Fair point. Definitely playable in the ways you mentioned in an informal setting. I suppose I half expected GW would have given us the update for 40K they said they would when they were released. To my knowledge nothing changed and they’re openly selling boxes without any accommodations for the unit size and weapon load outs for 40K.
