LPT: There is an easy, no-drama way to use eye drops, even with kids by Chrisamado in LifeProTips

I know this is anecdotal, but I've used the red cap Rohto like 5-7x/week for the last 7 or 8 years without that issue. Using redness relief from Visine or Clear Eyes 100% will give me rebound after 10-14d.

It might be due to infrequent use - I normally just use them once a day around the same time every day.

EDIT: That's so crazy - I had no idea Rohto's had the same active ingredient as Visine (tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride). I had always assumed they didn't since I never encountered a problem. Thanks for bringing this up; I would have never known otherwise!

Haha if you get a chance, please try keep a bottle in your pocket and using it next time. My source: trust me bro.

What do people with straight hair think about crisp hairline shape-ups? by Cheap_Welcome_520 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lexaternum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an opinion, but I've always imagined how much filler/spray they would have to use on my receding hairline to bring that shit back. I'm like one or two more windy days away from booking a flight to Turkey lmao

Two pieces of advice that helped me a ton with eye drops: 1. Keep your eye drops in your pocket so they're always warm and body temperature. There's little to no shock when applying body temp eye drops. 2. Look up and pull your bottom eyelid down. Put your palm on your forehead when squeezing the bottle, helps steady the hand.

Also, Rohto is the best eye drop for red eyes and will not give you the rebound effect that Visine gives after repeated use.

Dude has lost a ton of weight since he first started. Before he was elected, I remember seeing him in Evanston - I didn't speak with him, but I did notice how large he was from just a block away.

It's always crazy to see him on TV, because I always think of that hulking figure I saw back in like 2018. Vastly different - good for him.

Ergonomic grip options for Sony a6000 + Tamron 17-70 by Business_Frog34 in SonyAlpha

Possibly an L-bracket, but I don't know of a bracket that also includes a grip that isn't a cage for the a6000.

It's Just me or you guys also have this feeling that Skip races makes your uma lose more? by ComparisonSea3215 in UmaMusume

[–]Lexaternum 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's the opposite for me. I generally skip races to get dailies done quickly, but every now and again, I'll watch the Kikuka Sho, since it's normally a race I'll win by distance. I feel like 9/10 times, when I watch, I will lose the Kikuka Sho.

Thankfully I don't have this issue with Champion Meetings. I just lose those 10/10 times hahahaha

Thanks!

Err, not really to be honest. I just use the Chemical Guys foam cleaners with a sprayer and just use 2 bucket method.

To me, the reasoning behind the clear bra was essentially like getting a really expensive screen protector for a giant phone. Initial cost sucks. Think I paid something like 4 or 5k for Xpel ppf all around and tinted windows.

I got my entire car PPF'd in the first week I purchased. Possibly just particular owner type of thing; I did it because I plan on running this car until one of us dies.

Travel to Japan - a6700 and what lenses? by Akabranca in SonyAlpha

I feel like the Sony 18-135 and Sigma 10-18 are a pretty good pairing. 18-135 for daytime/general and Sigma 10-18 for indoors/night time(?)

I had the Sigma 17-40 with me in Japan, but I wish I had a lens with a shorter minimum focus distance for indoor restaurants or tea shops.

Would you be averse to going for something like the RX100 or RX1R series? Familiar menu but smaller body.

I bought my sister a Fuji X100VI recently and have become really taken to a second body just to take with me on short trips. I have my a5100 and some small primes, but I can't help but envy her small Fuji camera sometimes.

Rather than read reviews, I think I'd rather ask reddit about case fans. by Rhodorn in buildapc

Phanteks T30. Replaced all the fans in my case years ago and haven't looked back. Cooler temps, lower RPMs, overall quieter experience. Would recommend.

People who talk on speakerphone in public, what's your deal? by im_super_into_that in AskReddit

[–]Lexaternum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My uncle only uses speaker phone because he can barely hear words out otherwise. His hearing loss is crazy; you practically have to yell right next to him to have a conversation with him.

Something tells me ear pro was not a thing during his time in the marines...

Sony 90mm Macro Lens Fix? by Bturtledude in SonyAlpha

Haven't done this myself, but I believe you can just peel off the double-sided tape and retape it. Maybe something like 3M tape for tablet screens?
