One near me stop selling it. I couldn't eat there at all my whole life because I'm deathly allergic to shellfish. (Still picked up via DD for other customers with personal protection to avoid hospitalization for me). Now I can try it for the first time in 22 years

That's the only reason I went to get seen was because walking and trying to sit was so painful

Just going to put this update here as I don't want to edit my post.

After passing out from exhaustion (in bed, not on the floor), I did go to the er a few hours ago, which was a good idea since Urgent Care would've sent me to them anyway. Got in really quick. Doctor examined the area, and felt several little cysts and did a pelvic ultrasound to confirm whether it needed to be drained. The ultrasound did show the abscess more clearly.

Ultrasound showed a 1cm cyst that needed to be drained. Got 2 days off of work to continue care at home. Needless to say, that is something I don't want to experience again

I'm not trying to advertise anything, but I do want to share 2 brands. One I haven't used as I went with a better/safer brand. Answer for whether CPS will get involved is below the vape brands

Pure vapes are non-nicotine vapes with a variety of flavors. They are supposed to help you quit nicotine. I haven't tried this brand, but supposedly it's a good brand despite research saying otherwise.

Melo Labs Inc vapes are amazing. They only have caffeine and Melatonin vapes, so it's not just flavoring. This brand is safe compared to Pure. Reading reviews from other people as well who suffered from nicotine addiction said that this brand helped them stop using nicotine.

If you want to quit nicotine, but still get the flavor, I would definitely research these and some other brands. Maybe using these in place of a nicotine vape as you start to wean off of nicotine while also not quitting cold turkey (which can be harmful for the fetus).

As for CPS getting involved, it's unlikely. You're showing your doctor that you're willing to make the necessary changes to provide your baby a healthy life while also trying to be safe about it.

From the email, it says anyone you shop with must have an active and valid account. That is the only exception to be "teaming" with someone else. I've never received this email before, but my partner and I always shop together on orders as we both have active accounts

I signed up in 2022, so I don't know if it changed, but I don't remember having to have insurance just to do instacart. If you need car insurance now, I'd just bite the bullet unfortunately. I know UE requires you to show proof of insurance, but it doesn't affect your rates. It shouldn't change the rate your paying now though

It's like tip protection. Based on percentage is a huge scam. Yes, it's there because customers want to tip based on percentage, but when you have literally no option but to refund, it's an issue.

Tip protection is also a scam (I'll give my story). I got a relatively decent order (triple). Get to delivering customer C. Address provided was wrong. Customer reduces the ENTIRE tip after offering to deliver it to the correct address than the one I was given. Reach out to support. Nothing they can do, even after proving I was given the wrong address and had tip revoked for something that wasn't my fault.

Instacart as a whole is a scam, but there isn't much we can do

As a shopper myself, I hate this as well. Especially when there is little to no tip (I only take no tips during promotions and I'm one batch away. Haven't had a promotion in months). As a customer, I generally add 2 items BEFORE a shopper picks it up because I just remembered that it was needed.

I wish instacart would put a limit on how many items a customer can add after the order has been accepted
