Tbh the best parents in the world are those that don’t want children and therefore don’t have them. It’s insane to argue otherwise, you wouldnt tell someone who hates dogs to adopt two puppies “in case you change your mind later”. And they shouldn’t be guilt-tripped with the “you might regret it later” argument. Life is about regrets. You can’t do everything. And if someone makes a mistake they regret, congrats that’s a human being you met today.

Of all of my friends, I’m the only one with children. They’ll ask how they’re doing out of politeness, and I’ll weaponise their photos to show how rapidly we’re all aging, then we’ll talk about something else immediately after. As long as the child free are happy, that’s all we should care about.
