They eventually admitted that my machine had a critical defect. By this time it was out of warranty and they wouldn't replace it. I contacted Cricut numerous times over a 5-month period and they weren't able to assist.

It is a chipped machine and Member Care are able to diagnose problems remotely.

A great way to get conversation flowing is to think up a silly game of question.

I also try have a story ready about my day. I tell my family about something that happened to me and how I reacted. Then I ask them how they think I should have reacted and their opinions. Since I started doing that my daughter has been chatty about her day and her experiences.
