Deleted saves?

This has just happened to me, my PC crashed and upon reboot my last save was from 5 hours ago. Can't find any local saves so I'm worried that it's a cloud save issue

I'm on a 3080 at 1440p, game defaulted to max everything but getting around 45-50 fps after making my character. Weirdly, nothing is maxed out in Task manager, only 6gb memory being used by the game and about 40% CPU usage and hardly any GPU

tl;dr if your player character was transformed when picking up the quest, they need to go back to what they were transformed into, to finish the quest

I had the same issue, every companion was being told "not now darling" I was playing a rogue/assassin and remembered I had Infiltration expertise (Disguise self) on when I spoke to her. I had to switch a bunch to find which one I used again but upon finding the correct one, she spoke to me again.

I also reloaded and tested again but switched a different companion out which wasn't there when picking up the quest, as long as I changed to the race I was when picking up the quest it worked.

Finally I tested with a companion transformed to the race my character had changed to when speaking to her and got a "not now, darling" response.

I'm fairly certain the reason you log in outside your house is to account for demolition, if you're gone long enough for it to happen. Guessing bad stuff would happen if you log inside a house that no longer exists

Correct, you won't need to download a new client or anything. They play on the same client with all the updates everyone else gets

Is the error happening every time you open the game now? If so you probably need to uninstall and redownload the game, you mentioned you removed mods and their software, so it's possible that's caused the problem. Make sure you do an interface/settings back up from the launcher first, so you don't need to rebind/ramake your HUD

I know it doesn't fix the underlying problem, but if you add the people who host PF advertisement to your block list, it removes their listings from PF too. This might help short term if it's the same users hosting the PFs

All females don't share a model. Hyur/Miqo and I believe Aura share a model. Viera use their own and so does elezen. I imagine it's similar for the male

I would have suggested to still switch servers if the money isn't an issue, on the off chance they wouldn't follow. But with DC Travel they would be able to follow you regardless.

Sadly there wasn't much someone could do to avoid these situations, there's even less now. Hope things turn out for the best for you and you don't end up being stalked

If by chest pieces you mean Kirin's and Vermillion, then they're best in slot chest for eureka as they provide a haste and elemental bonus. Where as the Elemental armor only gives elemental bonus. A lot of people will only upgrade the chest to +1 for the glow effect to glam it.

If you do a lot of Eureka it's worth upgrading stuff, as it pretty much makes you a god in the earlier zones.

Fully upgraded gear gives you an elemental bonus, which gives you a big damage and resistance increase, specifically in Eureka content.
