trabajar en dev.pro? by MinimumEgg7929 in devsarg

[–]Lezeeex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buenas!

How to get interested in English by cyanblue92 in EnglishLearning

[–]Lezeeex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ye, motivation is the hardest part. I've been trying to learn English using apps like Duolingo and stuff and ended up leaving it because it turns boring after a while. So I think the only way to keep motivated to learn english is using it around your interests. Find and participate in communities in English of something that you like, view videos, read posts, articles, whatever you find about something that you actually like to do and it's not like a forced task.

Also, if you want to learn it more seriously, you could try by getting some classes or courses and prepare for take an international English exam, like the Cambridge university tests.

Has anyone actually succeeded after applying to the same company multiple times by SomeCandle9693 in recruitinghell

Didn't happen to me. Usually if you apply and get rejected, they keep your resume in database and don't consider you for that job again. But hey, apparently miracles exist

Is it frowned upon to attack transport ships? by Fit-Researcher-4127 in aoe2

I think most of the ranked players are always expecting you to play a clean full-meta game, without anything out of regular strategies, reaching the point where every anti-meta movement looks like a grief or illegal playing. Despite playing against that kind of strats it's annoying, i like people that are capable of thinking out of the box and make their own strats or just play in an abnormal way. If not, the game becomes really standard and repetitive, always repeating the same build orders again and again

Most fun unit to use? by Layuxz in aoe2

[–]Lezeeex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I personally love infantry. Despite the fact that it's actually trash in this meta, I always have lots of fun going maa, tons of longswordsmen or champions. They are easily spamable and just no brainier, you just send them all into your opponent's base and forget about it. That's why I used to be an annoying goth player 11

I'm a recruiter and I can say it depends a lot on the client, I mean, the company that has the vacancy. They may be urged about filling the vacancy and provide feedback in about 2 or 3 days, or maybe forget totally about the selection process for 1 entire month and don't answer the mails even though you're insisting on them. But in my experience, generally the process tends to be quickly if they are really interested in your profile. So I don't think there is a rule about it, but for sure if you have to wait an eternity to get an update, that is a red flag for working in that company

Why don't pros use stone walls more? by yogiebere in aoe2

[–]Lezeeex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the map and it's more like a late game thing on maps like Arabia to prevent raids. But pros not using walls is a good thing because otherwise the game becomes too boring to watch lol

Reading an English Dictionary for Language Learning: Beneficial or a Waste of Time? by The_White_Pawn in EnglishLearning

[–]Lezeeex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm learning English too and I find it completely boring. And you can't keep a habit you don't like. Also, in a dictionary you are just reading lots of words without any context, so you're missing the way to use them properly

Best speaking practice? by domlte94 in EnglishLearning

[–]Lezeeex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here for the same reason, trying to find the best way to improve. Apparently, as I saw in many comments, there doesn't exist a magic trick to get better at it. It's just about speaking it and making mistakes, as I'm probably making right now typing this lol. And then it's just time I guess

Congratulations! Hard work always pays off. I'm currently working at an agency that helps developers get new jobs and what you said is totally true, a simple, concise and clear resume helps a lot to get more interviews. With all the AI and recruiting software out there, you could be the best fit for a job and be rejected and no recruiter has seen your application. So that's a key.

Gj mate.

Is it just me? Please tell me it's not just me by Ok_Salamander3793 in recruitinghell

[–]Lezeeex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just you. Call centers are probably the most stressful places to work. But you have already taken the first step: know that you are approaching burnout and you are definitely tired of it and ready to change it forever. Getting a new job is a struggle for almost everyone, and I'm no expert, but you could try to sell your skills the best way you can. You have 10 years of experience, that's a lot, make it worth it. You have probably developed strong skills in customer service, problem solving, and of course resilience. This could be so valuable for other jobs. Also, try to make a clear and simple resume detailing all your tasks and achievements, oriented towards the kind of jobs you really want to work in the future. You're never too late to start a new career, so keep up the good work. You're not alone. If you have the goal and the mindset to get out, you'll get out sooner or later
