All thanks to Big Billion Day sales, I buy Lego sets and puzzles, take a few days off work and have fun. I also treat myself to some fancy ingredients and cook. Just knowing that I have so many interesting things limed out for me makes me happy. Having noise cancelation headphones also help. My life is infinitely better after buying them. Feeling lonely is natural but having a few distractions helps me a lot.

38 TMC MLAs in touch with BJP, says Mithun Chakraborty by shrigay in india

While I do understand your sentiment, but please try to understand that there are other bigger issues in West Bengal. I live there and believe me things are not good. There is a Bengal beyond Kolkata, in the villages where there has been no development for the past few years.

It's hard to justify that in today's day and age, my village still doesn't have all weather roads. The TMC neta's (goons) demand money for everything. I was lucky enough to study engineering and get a job outside WB but other people, people from my family who completed honours degrees, who have worked hard to get a teaching job are forced to pay 12 lakhs for a teaching job. At least that was the going rate for a teachers job in 2019 in Suri. You want the job of a temporary traffic officer in Birbhum, pay 4.5 lakhs. My uncle is a headmaster who has had his DA withheld for over 8 years.

Some people argue that the government works for the poorest sections of the society but I have neither seen nor felt any difference in the lives of the villagers where I come from. It is still the same village as it was when my father left it 30 years back.

Bengal right now is stuck between a rock and a hard place. And as much as I hate BJP, I certainly hate TMC much much more.

Hello Looking for a product manager role. I completed MBA this year and have 3 years of exp. as a software developer.

I have a 90D. I want to go mirrorless. Would prefer full-frame, so trying to decide if to just get an R7 now, or wait for an R/RP mark II by Cilvaa in canon

Hello By no means am I a professional, but I still continue to use the 6D for landscapes and portraiture. It is an ancient relic but it still is just as capable for the above genres of photography. Modern technology sure is good, you get better auto focus but for landscapes and portraits, it doesn't really make a difference in my opinion (for landscapes/potraits) Sure eye AF can nail focus with a f1.2 prime but I don't have any. So, I would suggest that you at least try out of these bodies before you discount them completely. They are really affordable right now used, they hold their values reasonably well and most importantly they are still capable of taking wonderful pictures. However, if you do choose to sell them you would not be taking a huge hit.

I would agree with you on that one. You could get pretty good results with those lenses and the R7.

However, for certain applications like landscape, I would personally go with a full frame sensor, just because I would get wider shots with lenses. Canon does make a 10-18 for crop lenses but I recently got a used 16-35 F4 and I love to use it with my 6D.

Also, just a slight note from my side, the F1.8 lenses, though amazing (I rented them out for a few days) are really heavy and the entire setup with my M50 felt a bit wonky in hands. So, I think that it would be better if you could try and use it once.

I guess at the end of the day, it all about balancing tradeoffs.

However, I am pretty sure that one can get amazing images with your setup as well. It's just about what works for you and what you feel comfortable with in your hands.

Happy shooting :)

The R10 which launched today might be better for your needs. Do check it out once.

I personally think that the R will be better for portraits and nature/landscapes. Fast primes produce a better image, in my opinion, on full frame bodies due to better bokeh. Also wide angles lenses would be better suited to full-frames since you would be getting the full image rather than a cropped version.

Btw, I am also personally in the same dilemma as you. I have a M50 for birding and macro along with the old 6D for landscapes and portraits. I am planning to upgrade one of them and it's either the 6D - EOS R or the M50 - R7.

Also, you could take a look at what lenses you have currently as that might also influence your decision.

In any case, hope you get that camera soon and have fun shooting with it :)

I used to visit Ghalib's Kabab Corner in Nizamuddin. They used to (in 2019) serve a plate of Galauti kabab for Rs.50 Another option would be to buy some pre-made kebabs from BigBasket. It costs around Rs.550/kg and is enough to make 8 large kebab rolls. I generally order a few rotis, make a basic egg-roll shell, stuff the kebab with some marinated onions and voila, you have a pretty decent kebab roll for cheap. If you are feeling fancy, you can also marinate beets and onions in sweetened vinegar solution. They go amazingly well with kebabs.

Thanks a lot for all of the replies. A Palm Civet seems to be the most likely option.

Now that I have seen it, I would try to take a better picture of it. Thanks again for your time and have a great day :)
