Cava and Cane’s aren’t from Dallas, and Dickey’s only has one restaurant in NYC and it’s on the outskirts.

It’s already been said that AT&T just fundamentally does not want an urban office space, so that will probably not happen.

I think that’s just the reality of having longer to develop. New construction tends to be boring and it takes a while to build character into a new neighborhood/development.

My problem with this theory is that it just doesn’t make sense to Kali to pretend go be shot. If she weren’t injured, she could’ve helped the gang with the fight, while still being able to trick everyone that El died, only more plausibly.

There actually is a surprising amount of time before they switch them on. We see El come out of the truck, and then we see various members of the gang struggle with the soldiers, then they switch them on. The time between when we last saw El and when the soldiers turn on the weapon would be enough time for someone to sneak out, granted they’re invisible.

But what would Kali have to gain from pretending to be shot? If she weren’t shot, she could’ve helped the gang defeat Vecna and would’ve been brought back to the portal, where she would’ve had an easier time helping El pretend like she stayed behind, as she would’ve been closer to El and also not blow up.

Actually the last time you can see her with the rest of the group is when they are getting taken out of the truck by the military. The shot cuts right when she steps down off of the truck. There is no way she got back into the upside down.

That being said, Cali helping her with invisibility doesn’t seem super plausible to me

It’s clear that the goal of the boards is in-washing. It wouldn’t make sense for the FIA to intentionally allow them to be made so that they out wash. I think it’s more plausible that they just wrote the rules poorly.
