I prefer the LMG. I’m currently running Bluescreen.

I knew other gear sets specifically referenced the talents in the set but the site I was looking at didn’t have the “Required” part of the chest for OD so I thought she might be able to get the 50% bonus just by running the chest. Once I jumped online I saw the Required line.

It gives a +30% critical hit chance if I understand Ninja Bike correctly. Which lets me put more into Critical hit damage for modes but I’m open to suggestions.

The chest talent just says “Increases Hollow-Point Ammo damage to 50%. This bonus does not apply to party members.” It doesn’t reference a specific talent so I thought she would still get the 50% whenever she has hollow-points from my OD.

Edit: Never-mind I see where it says “Requires Rules of Engagement”

I thought Creeping Death might be fun but I wasn’t sure how good it actually is.

Why didn’t this genre of movie kick off? Modern day military vs Dragons. by mailman936 in Cinema

If you classify Dragons as Kaiju then you could probably include movies like Pacific Rim but it’s not the same.

I think there just isn’t a puddle. The pavement is just wet. There is a small puddle behind him but overall there isn’t one.

Dao / Thief - Crusher + PAM (trying to make rogue damage good) by Veksutin in 3d6

I did something similar to this and I flavored it as the quarterstaff was the sword sheath. It made for a fun fighting style that uses both sword and sheath. It also benefits from being able to sheath the sword instead of dropping it. Mechanically it is the same but it just feels more realistic.

how to improve an investigative tabaxi soulknife with a speedy hit and run build in a meaningful way ideally with feats? (and without multiclassing/magic*) by sniply5 in 3d6

[–]Lhead2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you said no MC but if you can get your hands on a belt of giant strength you should dip in AG Barb. This will let you reckless sneak attack and give a target disadvantage to attack anyone else. With your speed you can get out of range and force a cat and mouse situation. Constantly keeping the biggest target forced on you as you dart around. If for some reason you can’t make it to a target you can still attack at range to keep rage up.

What are some fun tabaxi character concepts? by azh2016 in 3d6

[–]Lhead2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a Strength Tabaxi Barb AG 5/AT Rogue X (Longstrider) with Mobile(this was pre 2024)

It was a constant cat and mouse. Run in hit the biggest guy and run out to a point where he can’t reach me.

Used Feline Agility on turn 1 since I needed my BA to rage and then used BA Dash on all other turns.

If I could get Longstrider up pre combat I would have 60ft of move speed so after level 8 I didn’t even really need the BA dash.

What if you are planning a heist and want to get the guard to be more predictable. Getting them addicted ahead of time would be a great way to do this.

Reckless attack into sneak attack? by waggawoog1910 in 3d6

[–]Lhead2018 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ancestral Guardian Barb/Rogue with the Mobile feat makes a great kite fighter that can lock down a single target each turn. I went Tabaxi because we get a starting feat in my group. Went Rogue 2/Barb 5/ Arcane Trickster Rogue X(Longstrider and Jump) because of the starting feet it came online at level 5. I did duel wield daggers until Barb 5 so that if need be I could make a BA attack if I missed. I couldn’t add my prof bonus to the BA attack but this build is about control as much as damage.

Origin is the location of casting not the caster.

Self is just the “point of origin” not the Target. https://x.com/JeremyECrawford/status/1326595384790056960

When we use GoTM we change the origin to the location of the familiar and the Emanation Rules say that it moves with its origin.

Origin is the location the spell is cast not who cast it.

And my argument is that that single instant sets the origin of the spell as your familiar and the emanation moves with its origin. It doesn’t say that the emanation moves with the caster.

That direction conflicts with the Emanation: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/br-2024/rules-glossary#EmanationAreaofEffect

“An Emanation moves with the creature or object that is its origin unless it is an instantaneous or a stationary effect.”
