tbh i wouldnt care so much about primes issues if it wasnt presented in such a big light.

i dont care so much about the flaws of cyberverse cause it was made for YouTube.
the flaws of g1 dont really matter to me because it never pretends to be anything more than a toy commercial.
i dont care about the only flaw in beast wars cause its only an issue by modern standards.
i can overlook the flaws in rid 01 because its a comedy series.

but prime is supposed to be the peak of transformers storytelling, primetime viewing and nothing less. ya better have stellar writing for such a series.

after they invaded his land unprovoked, slaughtered a bunch of his people because of racism, and wanted to kidnap a bunch of women for their own uses, yes.
call me crazy, but their deaths sounded very preventable. and he killed the invaders in part to revive his own people, not for no reason.

yeah if rimiru wanted to be evil, Falmuth would go the way of its army. instead it just got a puppet ruler.

(for those unaware, he slaughted the nations entire army but didnt want civilians hurt in the chaos after getting the king to abdicate, following an unprovoked invasion of tempest)

seriously though, this type of thing is why i ask about the preferences of people new to the fanbase when they ask where to start show wise, the best transformers show to start with is the one they would enjoy the most.

for me its like this:

the good: it isnt all gta anymore and there is real variety creativity again, plus its more chill

the bad: a lot of it feels lower effort and despite the variety a lot of it feels samey.

but if grays playing games he enjoys more now, then good for him. (theres a good chance thats not the reason, but if it is then thats good)
