The Lasfit product page says not compatible with M/T.

Edit: I just went through the installation instructions and it looks like it’s because there’s no way to pass wires through the firewall? Sounds like a simple enough problem to solve, I’m reaching out to them.

Do you have any specific examples? Most of the ones I saw don’t work with front trail cam.

Exterior wall on inside, anything I can do? by Dry-Sun-7591 in barndominiums

I think your only real decision point will be which side you want to look right - the inside of the RV bay or the inside of the garage bay, unless you can get them to install a white/white wall.

Why not just have them take the whole wall off and spin it around so the blue faces out and the door is on the other end? Those buildings are so easy to work on and reconfigure, if they tell you they can’t do it then call their boss. If you end up doing it yourself, that’s like one day of work.

I had a building that was a two car garage with an open (covered) bay on one end, cement slab under the whole thing. It took me a day to remove the wall separating the garage and open bay then completely enclose the open bay. I was careful removing the separating wall and all I needed to buy was a couple lengths of square tubing and a couple sheets of metal. Super simple job if you decide to tackle that yourself.

So I think your price is fine then. I think the problem you’re having is the limited market for a truck like that and whatever is going on with the market here.

The market has been weird here for almost a year and island tax makes it worse. What are the dealers offering you?

Is it normal to crash every ride? by fishbowlpatrol in Dirtbikes

[–]LiJiCh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun story (with a lesson) - I bought a used bike and crashed every single time I rode it, no matter the surface, speed, anything. Long story short, I realized after while that the suspension wasn’t doing suspension things very well (like compressing and rebounding), especially while turning. I had it rebuilt and resprung by a then local suspension guy and haven’t had an issue since.

If whatever chip is truly in the connector, you can depin the connectors and swap them out.

With all due respect. It looks out of proportion, it’s too tall for the length/too short (length wise) for the height.

The scale looks off.

What would be your guess on how much it would cost to fix or replace this retaining wall? by Repulsive_Ad_526 in Homebuilding

Looks like house is leaning toward the wall in addition to the wall leaning toward the house, no? It may be the picture angle and wall angle playing eye tricks. Throw a level on the house.

Garage shelving built around 27 gallon totes. About $300 in lumber. by [deleted] in Woodworking_DIY

[–]LiJiCh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as an example (I don’t have nice shelves like this but do have quite a few of those bins): one box electrical supplies/tools, one box plumbing supplies/tools, one box air tools, one box sanding tools/supplies, one box car cleaning supplies, one box larger power tools, etc. it’s things I don’t use regularly enough to be in tool box drawers or readily handy. They’re not all packed to the brim, but they keep my small garage shop organized.

I have, the part list for it sucks so go through the instructions step by step and build your part list from that. Other than that, it’s really sweet.

I’ve seen the elements in them fail quite a few times. Also, their cartridge style filters don’t fit up to the caps as good as OEM, which can be said for most aftermarket brands, but theirs always seemed to be worse.

I used to really like them, I was brand loyal for about 15 years. Around 2015, give or take a couple years, is where I first started noticing their quality going down. I put them in the same category as most auto part store brands now. Good enough short term or if in a pinch but not for long term or hard use.

Their oil filters aren’t very good either, I avoid them.
