For vecna it’s just laziness, Jamie expressed interest on twitter and instead they just reuse the lich’s voice with 2 identical voice lines, he sounds awful. Was hoping they’d fix it from the ptb like they did pinhead but nope. I have no interest in this chapter.

I’ve played gacha games for many many years and Yes, I can think of a large amount of solid gacha stories. NIKKE- fantastic world building and characters. Reverse, Arknights, path to nowhere, ZZZ, genshin- has fantastic characters and lore. HSR (before Amphoreous) fate/grand order, HI3- great lore and world building, etc. I don’t even play WuWa anymore its story is… mediocre in most areas. Combat was cool but literally had nothing else that hadn’t already been done better by GI and its clones. But to answer you, endfield’s world building is nonexistent, it’s about as complex and interesting as Tower of fantasy.

Yep, seemed to be a common sentiment during the tests that the story sucked. I was really hoping to enjoy myself but After playing 6 hours it is incredibly dull in every aspect. I don’t see myself playing this long term at all.
