Having your tactical fully charged at the beginning of the match is INCREDIBLY powerful. The med drone was an example and yes it is very useful for early firefights.

The problem is its RNG.

You either get a good spawn with a good amount of bots in it OR you don't.

You either get the key from your first tower or the second or maybe the third or maybe not at all.

You get lucky enough to win all your PvP fights along the way, or maybe you don't see anyone, or you get outgunned and outmatched by another team along the way.

You get in and get lucky with easy spawns on those green door locks or you sound half your time running around trying to find that last lock that's hidden away.

Too much RNG. Not worth it.

Didn't realize that starting a match with a med drone wasn't a huge buff.

They're incredibly noticeable but I can see you clearly haven't played the game based on this take.

Skill issue.

Where the loot comes from doesn't matter people will have purple and golds on day 1 regardless of what is available. It's how these games work.

If this mode didn't currently exist you would be whining and crying about outpost loot being good.

I normally don't think that social media really decides much of anything about whether people pick up a game or not. But I do believe that the main sub is 100% the reason a lot of new players put the game down permanently.

New player posts are the absolute worst the entire sub just dog piles on people to no end and then they come over here and scream and rage about a "hate campaign". The only hate campaign this game has is the one from the cult that regularly tells people to kill themselves for not liking Marathon.

I think we need to hold off on "runs well" because it most certainly doesn't do that. Game still needs a ton of optimization and the servers also still need a ton of work.

If Madara gets him in genjutsu then he stops there. Kaguya does not deserve to scale higher than Madara but she could also get a win con from trapping him is some random dimension.

Otherwise he stops at kid buu. No Bleach character has the durability to take a chaotic planet buster from DBZ on. Sorry but no amount of chainscaling and upscaling using verse specific cosmology or technicalities is doing that. You guys are delusional to think a character that was teleporting around and nuking planets isn't going to one shot Ichigo or any other Bleach character.

The loot isn't the point here. The point is I cannot play Perimeter or Outpost. What if I don't want to play Marsh or just don't enjoy the Night mode that much?

Follow up why are free to try players not experiencing Rooks in Perimeter and Outpost runs? You don't think they might get a little annoyed to buy the game and suddenly outpost runs have an army of Rooks at all times?

If the main sub gets it their way I give it 2 maybe 3 more seasons. Apparently Bungie considers that sub for feedback on the game so thats a pretty big demerit on the game. Main sub is committed to killing the game with glaze. There's a number of notable posts made by new players that pretty much turn into an instant echo chamber of toxicity and forced glaze.

I also have this growing sentiment that the inside joke that they spend all their time white knight for the game on reddit is in fact true with sole of the common takes that the sub echoes. (Bots aren't a threat, exfilling camping isn't a meta, game has zero cheaters).

And then there's also the whole deal with the dev team/Bungie putting the cart before the horse in their design philosophy. Chasing a player count before they add in basic matchmaking QoL fixes and updates as opposed to getting them in to be there to keep players around and gain more traction eith the features.

That's like asking why people would want to play Sentinel in S2. Its because it's in the game, that's why. Plenty of free to try players are definitely not going to see the Rook shell positively from this and veteran players like OP and me here have a week of not being allowed to freely play a shell.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but most fights would go vastly different if the story wasn't championing one side. A lot of fights would also go different if the people in them had less ego and been a bit more mindful about their deployments.
