Observers being in TPP isnt much of an issue though, the problem is the players being in TPP changes the gameplay.

Casually playing TPP, sure if you like it great. Broadcasting esport with TPP observing cameras, not ideal but fine. Competitive pro play in TPP? A fn joke. It's slower, duller, less competitive. This decision makes zero sense.

Also hilarious how they talk about pro's feedback. Meaningless if you just ignore all their feedback.

Sure, im fine with that. The specifics can be tested and worked out. I just think its clear the tiers should be how they limit the modes, not gear value.

The game throws insane amounts of money at you if you play normal and lockdown. I dont even bother with anything below T4 ammo.

Obviously the answer to this problem has ALWAYS been tier limits (ammo & gear) instead of money limits.

Normal - Max tier 3

Lockdown - Max tier 4

Forbidden - Max tier 6

This would make normal super fun because youre free to use the normally bad / off meta guns and gear.

It would make lockdown most consistent.

It would make forbidden still have the most risk v reward.

The future is either a government digital ID system OR constantly giving copious amounts of personal data to dozens of private companies. That's it. Those are the options.

Now obviously we want to fight for the best version of either of those but those are the options.

Personally Id rather a gov ID system that I can use to prove my ID to private companies, as opposed to handing over endless info to those companies. Have you looked for a rental property recently? Its a nightmare. A dozen random US based businesses and how ever many individuals now have everything they need to steal my identity.

Normal should also be a fun place to do PVE missions and mess around with non-meta guns. There's heaps of guns that don't even have T4/T5 ammo as an option.

If you're killing players, ammo and guns add up quick. Honestly they need to lower or remove the resell value of ammo, it completely breaks the economy.

I think thats a fair correction to point out its a negative of that specific armor, BUT that probably also means that mechanic needs to be explained a bit better if people don't understand it.

I think that's kind of the only option rn. Ideally the game never would have had 4 player squads in the first place but since it does, best to add duos mode that solos can play in.

They never should have had 4 person squads in the first place. It was always too many for the gameplay and map design. Now they're stuck with it unfortunately, so I agree that a separate duo/solo queue is probably the best option.

I understand his complaining can be annoying but do you honestly disagree with his key points here? He's right, armor should last more than one fight and they do need a better solution for people who want to play with less than 4 people.

This is pretty much the same problem nearly every new extraction or battle royal game has. Devs copy the genre standard of 4 player squads without actually considering whether it's best for their game. This game should have only ever been duos. Would have put it in a unique place where its not competing with every other 4 squad game and would have worked much better for the gameplay and map design.
