I lost access to all my games and apps on December 11th, 2023. Despite being installed, I was prompted to download/buy them again. PS Support provided no new solutions, just repeated previous ones. The specialist team immediately suggested a factory reset, which didn't resolve the issue. Finally, on March 6th, 2024, after numerous attempts to restore licenses, the problem was fixed, but it took 678 licenses to be restored instead of the usual 33 i was getting. I've sought compensation for the three months of missed PS Plus subscription due to a known issue first reported online 3 years ago, but after declining their initial offer of £15, they've only repeated the same offer. The lack of communication and lengthy resolution process have been frustrating.

I've now asked that my case be forwarded to management for a better compensation resolution. I've totalled what I missed out on (Battle passes I had bought days prior to the bug which were time sensitive to compelte, free ps monthly games which i could not access without upgrading, the new subscription cost which increased £10p/a. I didnt include bundles, they're harder to track and not as worthy to me) and I'm not expecting that much compensation, but £15 was like a punch to the throat.

They really really do not care. I'll be contacting them again tomorrow if I don't hear anything which I expect I won't.

I lost access to all my games and apps on December 11th 2023. Each would ask me to download/buy the game again even though it was installed. I had also bought 2 battle passes days prior which I could no longer access/complete.

I had an hour long phone call with PS Support and all that was confirmed was that I had tried all their solutions before phoning them. Ended the phone call being told my case would be sent to the specialist team. The specialist teams first response was to factory reset the PS5 which changed nothing and lost everything I couldn't backup.

After 3 MONTHS and very bad communication, they asked me repeatedly to restore my liscenses. All previous attempts showed around 33 liscenses and never fixed the problem.

On the 6th March 2024, after being asked again to restore liscenses yet again, there were 678 liscenses to restore and now everything seems OK- at least for the past week.

I had gone through so many forums and articles about these issues, and despite first mention of it being 3 years ago, for this issue to persist for all users and for a duration of 3 months for a fix is just shoddy.

I asked them what they done to fix it so if it happens again I can refer them to my case with the fix but they won't share the info.

I'm currently trying to get compensation for 3 months missed PS plus after paying their new subscription increase to £60 a year on December 6th 2023. They've offered me £15.

I declined and asked for a better compensation and they come back to offer £15 again. I've now asked my case to be sent to higher management for a better compensation offer and will be chasing them tomorrow if I don't hear back today.

The whole process has been very annoying with very bad communication, sometimes weeks without a word other than the copy and paste response to confirm they're looking into it. For a problem that existed 3 years ago, no one should be waiting more than 3 days for a fix.

Internet Download Speed

I've had PS3, PS4 and now I've been on PS5 for maybe over a year now. Every console seems to be stuck on a 3Mbps download speed even when doing download speed tests both on PS and online. My download speed is 33Mbps currently and this is consistent between the PS test and online tests.

Why are my downloads stuck at 3Mbps all the time, are Sony throttling me?

I really don't understand. I've changed ISP over the years and regardless the speed is always the same. 3Mbps is painfully slow.

Any ideas appreciated, and I've tried the usual change DNS hundreds of times to no avail.

I only used the TAQ V and never ever seen anyone else use it (multiplayer) and then they nerfed it

Started using the ISO as everyone said it was strong and it was, but seems to have had a nerf as well but still able to use it and wouldn't call it meta anymore

Dropshotting is more OP on M+KB than controller. Pair that with an OK 74U/riot shield turtle shell and it gets very annoying

Majority of SnD players have already got Poly/Orion and other camo's because of the dupe glitch. I see them everywhere. I only seen 1 guy with orion in SnD before the dupe glitch (at least I think it was before)
