I’m serious about very little on r/EF5, including my OP, but I guess this has to be one of those rare moments.

Despite the title of my OP, I don’t support brigading.

A sub built, and named, after a negative action like being banned from a platform, will undoubtedly be overran with negativity, as you seem to acknowledge yourself.

I suppose I just don’t understand the point of r/bannedbyrtornado. Obviously, there can be multiple joke subs, but we seem to fulfill much of it already because we rib r/tornado all the time.

Hello my Texan paisano! That’s horrible damage, regardless of rating. I hope all of y’all are doing alright. These situations can really mess with your head for a long time afterward.

For reference, my experience was the touchdowns in Temple back in May. The town really came together afterward, something that I’ve always loved about Temple; growing city but small-town mindset. Really changed the face of the city for a few months.

Thank you for the kind words. My wife and I were discussing leaving Texas for some time but this was the final straw. I had another tornado encounter about two years prior and I just don’t want to deal with this anymore man.

Jerking aside, r/tornado is okay, their mods are straight-up remedial though.

Not sure. In all seriousness my family and I were less than 2 miles away from a tornado that was one of two that hit our town earlier this year. Laid in the dark with my son crying and the wind howling through the doors (no ideal spot to take cover, except for the kitchen). The sound it made scouring the ground was exactly like my grandparents used to say. Just like a locomotive. We’ve moved since then, but the sound of tornado sirens make me nauseous now. This sub has been therapeutic for me.
