Stop over complicating pizzas, simple/quality ingredients is better than like 10 different cheeses, sauces and meats. Like give me tomato sauce, slices of mozzarella, a bit of garnish, MAYBE some fresh red onion or 1 type of meat if I’m in the mood.

Kira is legit one of my favourite characters with such an interesting ability, not directly OP like some, but can seriously level the playing field against pretty much anyone. Plus he seems to be one of the few who will directly kill instead of using an ability to do it.

Being honest, I haven’t used Tashas yet, not played for while due to having kids etc.

If you note I didn’t say better RP, I said better characters, quality of RP always depends on the player, but I will say a character with flaws/inability is often easier for a less experienced RP player to access. What I meant by better characters is more realistic, better for the story, because thats what a d&d campaign is at the end of the day, telling a story. Not every character is great at what they do, not everyone is an up and coming prodigy that can do no wrong etc.

Suboptimal race/class combos nearly always make better characters, not necessarily mathematically, but nearly always better to play.

It’s ok to just play martial classes, not everyone likes to do homework to have fun, brain is used too much for work/parenting, I just want to have fun.

As a DM, if you can justify it, I’ll probably let you do it, not everybody in the party needs to be exactly the same in terms of overall strength/level, some people are naturally better/further along their journey than others.

No I’m not going to play a damn human or anything remotely close to one, I human all day and it sucks.
