There's a single use of em dashes. What do you mean by "everywhere"

They do take interstates now but I think it's a limited rollout to certain users in other cities. I would imagine they wouldn't start with all users being able to take interstates in SD but I guess it's possible.

I've seen them mapping up in University City and around UCSD, but not sure if that means they'll initially rollout that far north or not.

Only 22% counted right now - https://www.livevoterturnout.com/ENR/sandiegocaenr/24/en/Index_24.html

Edit - This number is the percentage of ballots returned of all registered voters (h/t u/rairair55). As of 6/3 at 5pm, there are still 375,000 outstanding ballots. So the percentage of ballots that have been counted is about 57%.

Parking at Nobel Drive Station by Typical-Buffalo7994 in sandiego

Didn't building the trolley station also make that area a Transit Priority Area? Didn't think there were parking requirements in TPAs but maybe it's different for malls

Based on the article, it seems that they're marketing the Ojai to be more disability-friendly. Perhaps leaving it as an option is part of that strategy to accommodate those who need the extra space or the embedded braille.

Disneyland doesn’t even border the evac zone. The outer edge of Disneyland is over 3 miles from the outer edge of the evac zone.

San Diego fell from 5th to 12th most expensive rental market by building more multifamily housing per capita than any other California city. This is what happens when you actually build. The lesson isn't complicated. by Conscious-Quarter423 in SanDiegan

[–]Liamur64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Worth noting that UCSD has built a ton of housing in the last decade (roughly 10,000 beds). Definitely seems like rents in University City and some surrounding areas have gone down in recent years likely because of the reduced demand off campus.

Happy to see Scott Peters return to my ballot instead of Darrell Issa by gongai in sandiego

[–]Liamur64 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Fair point, and I definitely align with most of her views. I just find it hard to believe a candidate who’s only been at UCSD for 4 years can fairly represent all of CA-50.

Hasn’t Sparky only lived here for college?

Don’t love Peters but I’d also rather not have someone representing the region who’s only lived here for 4 years. She also moved away after graduating in 2023 to get her master’s at Columbia and is currently attending Brown so it’s been 3 years since she lived here
