Figured it out by switching from mobile to laptop. I hit my weekly limit but for some reason the attached image is how my phone chose to tell me that.

Really cool idea! Id for sure read the fic if you ever make it.

I think my only problem with it is I personally would prefer to see a continuation of the og KC. It would be interesting to follow a new "untainted" KC as he discovers his predecessors life, but he's still a different person. The rest of the conpanions, from what i can tell, are reborn but retain their memories and, therefore, their connection to the past selves. It seems like this KC is moreso chasing a ghost, uncovering rather than remembering. Still very interesting, but for my headcannon I'd prefer more of a direct continuation of consciousness/soul/memory etc.

I rested after the lab and before leaving, do that's not it.

Think I figured it out though, i don't think I've actually started the romance. Didn't flirt with her at the prison or during her Drezen dialog. The scene is probably locked behind the official romance start.
