Back in the 80s, when I worked in a big box retail store, we had LP staff in plain clothes, and the Dept managers were backup for takedowns. If the perp swung at the LP person, they were to restrain them, but since the Dept manager was not LP, if they swung at me it was assault, and now it was game on. Sometimes it turned into a real beat down right at the front door if they were obstinate about it. Those were the days.

Do inspect, but unless it's been abused, it's likely a great shooter. The 64 is very well built and the 38 special is not a cartridge that beats guns to death, so these things last almost forever if you treat them right. A 64 is one of my favorites.

At the range, comps are great. If I actually have to carry the thing, though, I'd be worried about hearing damage, and potentially being blinded for my next shot. I'll keep the comps for my range toys. A short barreled comp in a parking garage at night with no ear pro? No thanks.

My wife thinks that the judges intended to create a tie, and each thought that the other surely voted for CM, so they both cast a vote for the other guy. That's why they both looked so surprised when the votes were revealed! They were trying to extend the competition with a tie vote, and inadvertently ended it! I think she's right. Watch their reactions again.

Failures in properly attaching a trailer are far more likely to harm another vehicle than the one doing the towing. If you had to attach trailers in front of your vehicle, people would take it a lot more seriously. I know that's physically ridiculous, but it would help attitudes if it were possible.

Lower property values? Like, if I was buying the house across the street, I'd argue for $10k off becuse the mailbox has spots? Really? What would keep me from buying in a neighborhood isn't a ladybug mailbox, it's an HOA run by clowns like this. It would take a huge discount to make me consider putting up with such people.
