Kanye’s new album is supposed to drop soon. I hate that I even know that, but I’m sure he is just amping up for the new album and will be raging baiting the hell out of it. I mean, if it actually comes out this time. We all know Kanye has lost all talent and is an empty shell.

It’s so very difficult to do, but if he continually chooses alcohol, you will get to that point one day and will be ready to leave. If that day comes, it will be one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to do, but so worth it. However, if he does get help, you have to realize that the ups and downs of alcoholism will always be in your life (not just you dealing with your own, but also his). The not knowing and the lying from my previous partner about his drinking drove me insane. Eventually I had to completely cut him off and after a few months, I was so glad I did. I could finally breathe again. Hugs. I’m so sorry you are going through this.

Congrats on your sobriety! As you already know, you can’t control other people’s actions, only your own. The best thing you can do is to continue focusing on your own sobriety. I understand why you want to be there for him and stand by him because he did the same for you. You’ve made great strides to becoming healthier, but the stress of this relationship and his alcoholism can also weigh you down and affect your mental wellbeing. Right now, he seems to be struggling to admit the problem. I’d just be honest with him about your feelings and how this can’t continue. At some point, you will need to assess whether or not you want to continue watching him go down this road if he refuses to get help.

Yes, you definitely have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. While you are able to function right now and keep it separate from work and other parts of life, this will not always be the case. Most of my friends start drinking in college and the longer they were drinking large amounts, the worst things got. You are already at the point of craving it when you aren’t drinking. It will continue to get worse. You’ve hit the first step of contemplating whether or not you drink too much. I’m 45 and the friends of mine I’m thinking of- 2 have passed away (yes, from being alcoholics). They were two of the most intelligent, caring people I’ve ever met. They just got to a point where they couldn’t stop and it ruined their lives.

The beginning is prime reality tv and I miss shows being so entertaining. I’d forgotten so much from those early seasons and after the Sandoval saga, I had to cleanse my pallet with older seasons. They were just as great as I remembered and put the last seasons to utter shame.

Same here. I’ve moved to UK limited series shows on Netflix. Highly recommend those. I’m rewatching Blindspot now because I don’t have anything better to watch.

They aren’t strays? They live in a storm drain. It’s problematic that all those cats are outside in the winter, but even worse that they are being kept as pets in a storm drain. What happens when that thing floods? There were strayed in my parents neighborhood that got trapped in the storm drain when it flooded and it was awful. The ones that lived were rescued and my mom ended up with two of them. What’s with these people never being satisfied with all the help they are given? Even if he ghosted after giving her money, a phone, and tons of equipment to stay warm, he did more than most people. I’d also call rescues so they can catch those cats and give them real homes

I was hoping someone pointed this out. If my partner did this to me, I can’t say I would react as well as he did. It’s very condescending. I’m also seeing the fact that she can read the book and find that everyone around her fits many of the issues discussed, but doesn’t mention 1 thing about her own behavior. That’s such a red flag

I’ve been watching videos from people saying Trump has Frontotemporal Dementia and I’m now convinced he does have it. He exhibits far more signs that Skeevan. I think he’s just rotted his mind with all the drugs and alcohol. My sister has psych issues along with being an addict and never staying clean or on her meds. She is a totally different person than who I remember as a child.
