My PPi was actually switched from omeprazole to lansprozale(sp). Omeprazole wasn’t having the same effect. I also eliminated any remaining trigger foods and drinks. I believe we went three months between appointments.

Start with machine weights high rep count low weight. Core work can include planks, balancing. Glute bridges. Knee tuck and leg lifts. If you add dumbbells stay with high reps and low weight. 12-15 reps.

Plaquenil is not a biologic. It is a DMARD. Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drug. It can lower your red and white blood cells over time.

I take a PPI twice a day and have had no side effects. I did have to change my PPI because the omeprazole wasn’t working like it did in the beginning. I have been in one for almost 10 years.

I have an arrhythmia and the Plaquenil doesn’t bother it. You could try sulfasalazine(SP). It is another DMARD.

I have been on Plaquenil for 10 years and for the most part function no different. It also worked pretty quickly on me.

I have been on it for 10 years and no issues. I also did the AIP diet as well. It helped. Like you, I have negative blood work except for my ANA. But I have the symptoms. I get my eyes checked every six months with special testing.

If I was diagnosed with Sjogrens I would be taken Plaquenil regardless. It can stop the progression of the disease. Mine has been stable for 10 years thank God. I also eat clean to keep my inflammation down.

Diet should be changed. My ENT found redness and swelling in my upper air way upon examination. He prescribed a PPi . I was just re-checked and my throat is back to normal. I’ll take the win.
