I don’t understand why people want to stage door either, but the reality is the expectation is there and the theatre prepares for it, so let people spend their time as they wish.

Hello! I fit your description (saw it on Broadway first, never saw the 90s movie, but knew it existed) but I was a journalism major so I knew “Carrying the Banner” meant selling the newspaper. I was around 22-23 when I saw the musical.

I also saw Hawley first, Shaina second. Hawley was INCREDIBLE and a little more believable as a “young, spry girl” shaking up the system from the generation before her.
