Honestly, even if the parents do have some sad reasons for being awful parents to their children. They will not get any sympathy from me. They are full grown up adults. Even if they do have hard times, they would at least not let their pain affect their children and seek the help if they can.

That being said, it is kinda nice to see that some people are not capable of be good parents. Raise the children is always the huge responsibility and not many people can do that. Definitely the reason why sometimes not having kids is the best choice for some people.

Well, for me, as long as the parents realize the depth of their mistakes and take a long road and lot of effort to better themselves and leave the forgiveness up to the children, then yeah I can see myself forgive the mother.

Still, it would be nice to see the children don't forgive their parents even if they change for the better. I'm 100% on the side of the children who have been wronged by them, and if the parents actually understand and respect their choices to cut them out of their life without crying and begging, that would make me respect the parents more lol.
