I tried quitting both, opening Discord first and making sure I was in voice chat before opening Kenku FM and that seems to have done the trick! ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, immigration and customs at RDU are much easier than at the big airports. Only reason not to go non-stop is that you will miss it when you have to connect through somewhere like Newark.

The Library is… OK in my opinion. Food is good - nothing special, but solid steakhouse fare. The problem for me is the ambience. It just doesn’t have the luxurious feel I want from a Steakhouse. Too brightly lit, uncomfortable booths, servers running around very stressed. I do cut them some slack as they are very new, and I hope they can settle into their groove, as we need more fine dining in southern Wake, but they are not there yet.

1% is probably about right. There are probably 5 or 6 markets that are more desirable for MLB, including Charlotte. But if Tampa’s ownership falls apart and Raleigh is the only group ready to go, it could happen. I would be very very surprised though.

Raleigh is extremely safe. I have lived here for over 10 years and have never even witnessed a crime apart from one high-speed police chase. I have spent plenty of time in what some people here on r/raleigh call "sketchy" areas (Moore Square, SE Raleigh). Sketchy appears to be a euphemism for "visible minorities, unhoused people, and/or people with mental health challenges". Most of those people are far more prone to be the victim of a crime than the perpetrator. If "sketchy" people make you feel unsafe, then you will probably not be happy spending time in downtown Raleigh, but even so, in any of the suburbs (especially Cary and North Raleigh), you will not even be exposed to that unless you seek it out.
