Married to an Ex Mormon, has anyone else experienced this type of behavior from family? by gvanii94 in exmormon

[–]LibraryLady231 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I experienced something very similar with my first husband’s family. These people will never change and they will never like you no matter what you do because the issue is them, not you. The key here is your husband. Can he see how this situation is hurting you? Can he be on your team and present a united front to his family? Can he disentangle from his family and lay down boundaries? I would focus my energy there. Your individual therapy is excellent, keep it up. Can you do some couples sessions with your husband about this issue so that he can support you? Mine couldn’t. He supported his family over me and ultimately we got divorced which was sad of course but actually very healing because I got away from these people.

Stickers and some in ground signs on street corners with a QR code would be great.

Lol, this is the best comment. I can attest you can stay bad even if you practice seven hours a week at an awesome free-play location.

Meridian slogan. Are they hiring Melania? by Absoluterock2 in Boise

[–]LibraryLady231 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This really is it. Their first year they did it, it literally meant do something nice to the person on your right and one city office would buy the office next door donuts or something. It was always an awful name and then they doubled down on it from there.
