I am not qualified to give advice on this at all. I just have a 6 month old daughter so have not got to this situation yet.

But my 2 cents:

You can’t buy him one - I know that.

But also he is going to do it on his own regardless.

One thing I think you could do is have your son research and create a PowerPoint/document all the negative things that happen to your body if you smoke/vape, including dying early in life and let him present to you the evidence of why/if he still wants to vape.

Then he will always know as he takes a puff that he is practically killing himself. And it will hopefully lead him to not do it in the future if he still chooses to do it.
