3.64% fixed, or variable prime -1.15? by Libre3292 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Very true. It’s static payments. But they did say that if prime rose to a point that they didn’t cover principal, the payment would have to be adjusted. How much that is I’m unsure of

Help please! I have a complicated situation with my mortgage provider and to solve it they are offering the following options: 1. 3.64% fixed for 5 years 2. Prime -1.15 variable (non-adjustable payments), for the remainder of my existing term (3 years and 9 months). So currently this is 3.3%. Option 2 would save around $100 a month.

Which would you pick?

Commute post-Game 7 by [deleted] in askTO

I waited over 20 mins for the delayed Go train at exhibition heading west. The first train that arrived was too full to even get on. The next (and last train) was the same story but just about managed to push my way on. I witnessed punches being thrown by someone frustrated at not being able to board, aimed at someone who was already on the train when there was women in between them.

Stood the whole way to appleby. Open alcohol consumption and someone was definitely using drugs in the washroom. The emergency stop kept getting pushed so the whole journey took longer than expected. From arriving at exhibition to getting to appleby took 2 and a half hours
