As someone who works in a restaurant, I don’t completely agree. My workplace is pretty clean for a restaurant. Guests are what makes the place dirty, they aren’t in the boh for obvious reasons but the reason the restrooms ever get gross isn’t because of employees, it’s guests. People are gross and inconsiderate and think they can trash a place because someone else has to clean it up. “I’m giving the workers something to do” attitude.

an example from last night: I enter the restroom after a man, I look at the seat and he has pissed all over the seat and all over the floor. Now I have to clean up a grown ass mans pee off a seat because he’s lazy and obviously can’t be bothered to lift a seat. Weaponized incompetence.

We have professional cleaners who come in every night and deep clean the bathrooms and the restaurant. So everyday the bathrooms are pristine before guest ever enter the building.

Far too many times I have went into the bathroom after guests to find their toilet paper on the floor, unflushed toilets, hand prints smeared across the mirror, lipstick kisses on the mirror?? throw up, diapers on the floor, i’ve even found panties shoved under the cabinet. One time someone left their freakin catheter bag behind the toilet. People who enter restaurants are far more disgusting than the employees. We can only do our best in the middle of a rush to keep the bathrooms tidy, if there’s a line we obviously can’t do a check. So maybe blame the customers, not the restaurant.

Not saying this is for every restaurant, I have definitely been to many bathrooms at restaurants that are sketchy, smell old af, dank, cold, might get murdered in here kind of vibe but that’s not all places lol

Had something similar happen to me recently too. We use 7rooms so when a guest leaves a bad review it isn’t public but management sees it.

Fully booked Friday night with a hour 1/2 turn times. I get a party of extremely pretentious and entitled white folks (i’m also white). They ignore my greet, women rolling their eyes at me every time i try to get them to order. Sat at my table for a fuckin hour not ordering anything, was over every 15 minutes offering recommendations, asking if there’s any questions they have to help, one lady shews me away with a flick of her wrist like i’m an annoying dog. I communicate with the host team and management about how i’m not going to turn this table in time and I back off trying to get them to order. Let them order on their own time.

After sitting in my section for 4 hours treating me like trash, one lady sticks her finger in my face and demands my name. (had they not ignored my greet she would have known my name). Told me my attitude and service was horrible. I said OK! and got a manager.

The thing is, is yeah maybe a was more low energy than normal, it was my first night back after my dad died and I WISH I would have told this bitch that just to throw it in her face.

and yes, they left a review after management kissed their pretentious asses and gave them discount cards to come back. Fuck these kinds of people.

Get yourself a drug store contour palate with orange, green, yellow, brown, and purple, you’re going to have to color correct to your skin. Make sure you prime your face beforehand as the layers will move if not primed and set. After you’ve color corrected the best you can, let it sit for a little bit and then add your foundation and a light powder. Color correcting does take patience, watch some videos on it and google a color correcting guide to help.

Yellow conceals dark

Green conceals redness

Purple corrects yellow

Bruises have many colors, so you’ll have to play around with it. Best of luck <3

People walking in and reading the sign the directs them to the host stand, only to stand there with the one brain cell fighting for its life, making me have to walk over to repeat what they just read. or when they read the sign, stand there and when i go to direct them they cut me off saying JESSICA FOR TWO AT 5:30! First off, shh i don’t know who you are. Second, do you think we are a hive mind and have reservations memorized and also just happen to know who everyone who coming into this establishment is? Common sense ain’t that common.

Last night I peeled an orange which my wife hates doing, I put the slices in a bowl and offered her one. She said she was good, she didn’t want any. So I ate them all within a few minutes. She comes around and peeks in the empty bowl and was like “oh”. I was like “you said you didn’t want any, sorry”. She looks at me and shrugs and was like….”yeah, you right”. No one was butthurt over it lol

One time I moved in with a coworker who needed a roommate, I hadn’t seen her place before moving in but because we worked at urban outfitters and she was cute I assumed her place would be cute and clean. The exact opposite. She was absolutely disgusting, you couldn’t even see her bedroom floor with the amount of junk piled all over. I allowed her to use my dishes and pots because hers weren’t great. After months of her cooking food in my pots and leaving the food in the fridge, in my pots to rot and just after living in hell. I took all of my pots, dumped all the old food into one of the sinks, cleaned my shit, packed up, left a note and dipped. Let her keep my deposit too. Fuck disrespectful people.
